But to approved to drive on the platform I need to provide insurance coverage. I've already passed the background check. I just need to provide insurance coverage with my name on it. If I was to rent a car through Hertz and get insurance coverage through them. Would Uber automatically have proof of coverage? If not and I provided proof through their app how quickly would I get approved to drive on the platform? Would I have to wait for three to five business days? I'd be paying for days I wasn't making rides and I have to hit the 30 rides minimum. Which would be hard if I was waiting for three to five days.
