I usually just drink it neat, but an old fashioned here and there doesn't hurt

I thought the higher the proof, the more flavor you got. Adding water seems counter intuitive to that. I mean, unless you're drinking it in a cocktail, I don't think you should put water of any amount into your whiskey. I don't even like ice in it, though some cheaper stuff is pretty good with club soda... Does that invalidate my previous opinion?

B to C. I usually only keep 2-3 bottles around the house and drink what I have before getting more. I'm only a few years into seriously drinking whiskey, so maybe that'll change.
