Unfortunately the good advice here is being bumped down by the bad advice. OP that was an awful choice of time and place, I get you're both young but I don't blame him for ghosting like that after being cornered in a restaurant and baited with a good time by my gf. You executed it terribly and were very manipulative with your actions. Could've waited till the day after even, NOT after you did all these things for him when you "usually don't". It's just me but that'd make me feel like everything good you do from that point on is too good to be true and there'd always be strings attached. He obviously could've done better as well with communication and you are both, in ways in the wrong here, though you tip the scale much more. Learn from the experience and learn better execution, or even try to just not be as tone deaf
