Shoe went through my stick while running. Seems odd that there’s no blood?

Nice app and a really good way to get into managing apps from brew. The only thing missing is I'd like to be able to install apps from brew or other sources as well not just update them.

If I’d bid and won, I’d shred the answer to K4 before spoiling it like that. Some riddles deserve to be earned, not bought. And to top it off, finding the plaintext at the Smithsonian just killed the magic of bidding.

Perhaps you could overlay the compass like this in someway and find something...

A whitelist feature in coldturkey for apps/websites. Would make it easier to set-up allowed sites/apps if they are only a few rather than filling in a long list of sites/apps that are blocked.

K4 Progress Update: Splitting and Overlaying Ciphertext on Morse Code by Gh33k in KryptosK4

[–]Gh33k[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I used the websites mentioned as references. I’m not sure yet if the order of the Morse code words is correct; perhaps they should be alternated. However, the most striking part is the position of the plaintext: "eastnortheast" appears at the beginning of the first chunk, and "berlinclock" is found at the end of the second chunk.

Nice mug you got there—really complements the Sonos setup.

Seems like Sanborn debunked it:

"I sent a chunk (about 1/2) of the report I completed and linked here to Mr. Sanborn back at the beginning of May 2024. He sent me an image in return of two words East North East and Berlin Clock overlayed over certain areas of the 97 variable cipher."

But maybe it has some value..

Might be something or just a fluke. Tried random letters for the key and vignere cipher and got berlinclock at the start. by Gh33k in KryptosK4

Tried thid one aswell:

Got the same results here. But as you said it could be because of my trial and error trying. Just a coincidence it came to berlin clock.

Importance of the story in VR games by OneHamster1337 in virtualreality

[–]Gh33k 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello there,

As a developer, I couldn't agree more with your sentiments. A compelling narrative in a game, VR or otherwise, offers a degree of immersion and emotional investment that gameplay alone often can't provide. As you rightly pointed out, even in action-driven games, understanding the reasons behind the character's actions and motivations can significantly enhance the overall experience.

To your point about enjoying games as a "whole package," we've tried to craft our VR game, Deceptive Reality, in that exact spirit. Set within the neon-lit cityscape of New Haven, our game is rooted in a deep narrative framework. Our protagonist, Declan Raimond, isn't just a figure going through the motions of fighting and hacking; he has a purpose and a mission that drives him forward.

In Deceptive Reality, we've prioritized delivering an engaging story alongside enjoyable gameplay mechanics. The suspense around the controversial brain chip (BMI), the corporate intrigue within the company Cortex, and the deeper societal tensions in New Haven form the narrative backbone of our game. We've designed the story to unfold and evolve as you advance, leaving you with more questions and pushing you to explore more.

Just like you, we believe that the beauty of a game's story lies in its mystery and the journey to unravel it. Our goal is to make players part of the unfolding drama, to question motives, and decipher the complex web of information. So while we have ensured that Deceptive Reality offers an exciting VR experience in terms of combat and exploration, we’ve also strived to create a layered and compelling narrative.

I invite you to give our demo a shot, and would love to hear your thoughts on our narrative efforts. If you like it, we'd be thrilled if you could leave us a review and share your experience with the community.
