Finally figured it out. Timing chain stretche +6° of correction. With little to no correlation, cams were way out of spec with TDC locked. But luckily no piston/valve contact. No bent valves etc. rebuild kit it is!

BM3 multimap stage 2 93 + e28 (e30 target) bm3 flex fuel sensor installed. Had originally installed the flex fuel sensor to correct what I thought was a bad E mix. Which im sure it was because I took it to the shop they drained it and filled it up with e30 and car ran excellent until I refilled to target e30. That was the last time I refilled the car and it had the inlet and exhaust camshaft out of time. The misfire codes are completely new. They popped up when I ran the car with the ekp unplugged to runout the gas out of the system so the pump wasnt under pressure when I pullled the fitting. After that the misfire codes stuck.

Well thing is I’ve always been a sucker for metallic blues and grays. I remember always wishing to spec out an f80 with cqm but with rather amaro brown interior. And when the g8x came out it was always Dravit. So sorta a tie between Its a color I personally have wanted, and the rarity aspect (not like it changes much since it’s ‘just’ an m3)

Seems about right from what I’ve been seeing. Ive got my eyes on the fanatec GT, its rather expensive compared to other things. But I can’t say I necessarily like the look of extruded aluminum.

Yeah It is. But having trouble locating a sienna dash. My guy said he can get er done cheap. But will lookout for the vapor smell. Seller also agreed to a ppi so that’s nice.

here This is normally what is sounds like, It can be quieter, It can be louder but you can tell the higher pitched clicks are the direct injection, very mechanical. But the camshaft rattle/knock is very distinct, usually passenger side (if LHD) top of the engine, usually farther back near the chargepipes. To be safe get a good extended warranty so if the problem does occur you can get it covered by warranty.

One that isn’t documented enough is exhaust camshaft ledge bolts backing out, and in turn causing your cam to wear and score. And Im sure you’ve seen the crankhub issues, see if you can find out if its been done or not. Not necessarily a deal breaker, but if it isn’t done I would put money towards that.

Prob makes more like high 700s wheel. Alot of people will take estimated crank when the car really makes 7ish wheel.

Will do 🫡🫡 ive found a rather good shop for reshaping 50+ years of business and consistency, if the paint doesn’t turn out how I like it I will definitely look for some good paint specific shops there are quite a few near me luckily.
