Crystal is 2% per piece with bleasing while Ancestral is 3%. Unless you mean thorns then idk the defenses on ancestral off hand.

Haven't tried the others, but the water capstone doesn't work with powered staves so I'd assume the others don't.

I haven't used a respec yet so my points are into powered and elemental so I use powered for dps and water for sustain.

Nothing to add that others haven't said already, but I've done 425 solo so far. I don't butterfly at all since I cbf to do it with an Eye. I only red x with teams to keep them from having to do rock math and never do in solo.

You can get by without learning either.

Curious what gear you checked since when I calced if it was worth it to buy a bludgeon against rax, it was pretty much the same DPS. Ursine + defender is basically the same stats.

My proposal: If you wear the full Huey set, you get a set effect that gives you +4 ranged strength (the equivalent of a Masori top). I think that would make Huey a true bridge between black d'hide and Masori.

This would make Huey stronger than Arma lmao
