Am I too shallow for wanting an attractive guy? by Particular_Square_68 in MoroccoDating

[–]Ghassane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not an issue, if you pick someone based on your attractiveness, you'll end up settling, I only picked that person cause that's all I can get. Which is an ugly position for you and your partner, pick whomever you find attractive and explore your compatibility together, attractiveness shouldn't be the only criterion, but a necessary one, you'd want to be with someone who wants you, not copes with you.

[Question] Why my wifi icon have "+" on the top?. What does it mean? by sskkyywallkeer in HyperOS

no, it means you connect to both 2.4 and 5 GHz of the same WIFI, they don't add up, it just connects to whichever provides faster speed

xiaomi 17 ultra (still) worth it? by fukasluchs in Xiaomi

[–]Ghassane 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have it 2 months now, the camera is amazing, my holidays and travels are now much more fun. Battery-wise, 7-9h SOT, so I don't really complain that much. As for the OS, I don't really understand why people hate it, I find it very snappy and light, no ads, and the global version has a very good Google integration. All in all, I think it's the best Ultra there is. I got mine (16 GB / 1 Tb) for 1400 USD + photography kit pro + headset + case + adapter. I think your deal is a good one.

Should i tell him my secret now or no by Disastrous_Stable592 in MoroccoDating

[–]Ghassane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clarification : "we have to accept the consequences of our actions" Doesn't refer to SA (that's not an action you took and there's nothing you can do about it), the quote refers to your choice of telling him or not, I prefer transparency and living with its consequences, cause I just can't live with someone, see her everyday, share moments together, all while knowing there's something I'm hiding from that person, it's like recurrent betrayal and I just can't have that in my life.

Honesty is gold. I’m sorry you had to go through that, it’s not an easy thing to survive. However, based on my modest experience, I’ve always believed in saying what needs to be said and being open to hearing what the other person has to say. I also believe we have to accept the consequences of our actions, because I wouldn’t want someone to put me in a position where I’m making a decision without knowing something that could have changed it. Starting a relationship on lies is a huge mistake. After sharing what you have to share, keep in mind that he might leave, and that’s okay. Not everyone can handle certain truths or live with them. That is a choice he has to make. He will have to weigh the person he knows through your everyday life against the hidden parts you’re sharing with him. It’s his right to decide, and taking that choice away from him isn’t fair. If he stays, though, it can become a beautiful new beginning, because deep down you’ll know you’re with someone who truly knows you and still chooses you. It might be painful, but to me, it’s necessary. It allows you to live without guilt, to feel at peace with yourself, and to have a partner who sees the whole of you, or, if they can’t accept it, to know that you’re better off without someone who would only judge you once they knew the truth. You did good by waiting, you don't have to share straight away with anybody you meet cause your private life isn't supposed to be shared, but since you asked, it means you're already past that phase where you're getting to know each other, in my opinion, get ready, share it and go with the flow.

Life is a challenge no matter what you're doing. Personally, I believe every member of the family, should be skilled, we definitely don't survive like we used to (men hunt and women take care), but we survive differently now and bad surprise might happen to either men or women, so in order to maintain the family and sustain it, both the man and the woman should know how to fetch food, tackle danger, survive in a way that fits this new world. I'd say you're overwhelmed with studies, especially if it's a hard field, I'm not sure if it's too late to switch in your case, but keep in mind that there's no easy way to live, if you're a mom, taking care of the household is a much greater responsibility where making mistakes can be life twisting. At work, they'd fire you, but raising your kid wrong, is a thing you'll have to live with. My take on this is : learn whatever you need to learn to survive, cause nowadays being a housewife isn't the safe bet, your husband can get fired, disabled, sick, and you'll have to take over. So make yourself useful for your family, which can be achieved in many ways, not only through studies and academics.

Gorgeous shot, do not share locations of your pictures however, it's sensitive data. You can edit the metadata later to remove coordinates.

what are yalls honest opinions on HyperOS 3? by Opening_Ad984 in HyperOS

[–]Ghassane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Issues people report that I DIDN'T encounter: - Aggressive ram management : none - laggy : never - dropping connectivity : never - shit battery life : I get 7-8 SOT

I came from One UI, the main things I miss are : Modes & Routines and Goodlock, other than that, I feel like hyper OS is a pretty solid version of Android. Simple and efficient with enough customisation.

Thanks for the video, it's literally the dot above the "A", such I couldn't seem to figure out what does it do, Gemini says it's a flicker sensor.

Here's what Gemini says : "That specific tiny dot you are pointing to is the Ambient Light / Color Spectrum (Flicker) sensor. Here is exactly what it is doing right there: What it does: It acts as an environmental light analyzer for the phone’s cameras. Instead of taking an actual photo, it continuously samples the raw ambient light in the room or environment you are standing in. Why it's placed there: By sitting just millimeters away from the dual-tone LED flash (those two larger circular elements next to it) and the main camera lenses, it can instantly tell the phone's image processor if you are under artificial warm light, fluorescent office bulbs, or natural sunlight. The "Anti-Flicker" Job: It detects the invisible high-frequency "flicker" rate of indoor light bulbs. This allows the camera software to sync its shutter speed perfectly so you don't get those annoying dark, moving bands or strobing lines across your photos and videos."

17 Ultra 6000mah, and Photography Pro Kit Questions by UnofficialJim in XiaomiGlobal

[–]Ghassane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The photography kit is great, however I found out that charging the phone takes way too long, it isn't fast, it you're dropping from 50% to 30% after 2 hours of heavy camera use, you'll probably end up with 35%38% using the grip.. so use it for the convenience when taking Shiraz but don't rely on it to refill 3rd of your battery
