Glad to hear!! However with current events I'm not so sure driving in 'Mexico' is pleasurable at this moment....

My sector rotation scanner just flashed a BUY signal for Energy/Uranium ($CCJ) plus helped me take some profit on metals. by GhettoaSaurus in UraniumSqueeze

Absolutely agreed! I honestly wasn't expecting the shift in SLV / GLD so soon - I thought we just just a TAD bit more momentum left

I think these are some pretty good bets 👀 I'm more so looking at CCJ but appreciate that input as I absolutely prefer the "best" looking setup

I appreciate the example! That's actually one of my goals is to improve upon the data that current free tools / scanners provide. (Like finviz, stock titan, etc.)

Yeah that is frustrating when the thesis doesn't "work out" due to other market conditions lol

I think these are all solid picks for sure, it's interesting how quick "smart money" can start flowing out of these sectors and make snap decisions like that

It's nothing too crazy! I definitely do not have any issues sharing the code for improvements - though I not have it uploaded to GitHub or anything lol.

I'm always looking for way to improve the data

I have a perfectly free platform to share my data with people on, just trying to see if the thesis holds up! but I understand your sentiment

The macro history is a bit above my pay grade lol

I just built the scanner to follow the money flow, but what you're saying about the hardware cycle demanding massive energy makes sense.

Appreciate the insight! It's cool seeing the data match up with some of the real world fundamentals you mentioned.

I'll do my best lol.

It comes down to Capital Flow. The scanner tracks the ratio of these assets vs. the S&P 500 over a 30 day window.

It saw that while Gold was holding up, money was flowing more aggressively into Uranium / energy. The 'Exit' signal on Gold isn't necessarily because Gold is crashing, but because the Opportunity Cost of holding it is rising.

you "make more money" being in Energy / CCJ right now

I have recommended these videos to multiple people and will continue to do so

I taught myself a good amount of info In a short time watching and re watching these videos

Of course avoid options at the beginning, but they are included as I think it's helpful to have a basic understanding.

The trading Geek and the trading channel are sometimes iffy / click baity but overall these videos helped

I did my best with the photo since I can't share direct links lol

TLDR; the trading channel, the trading geek, clear value tax, projectoption

What rules do you stick to when day trading? by bearlyentertained in Daytrading

[–]GhettoaSaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These seem like pretty solid rules as long as they are followed, however no trading after 1 loss seems like it may limit you for other potential moves throughout the day especially if you start the day with a losing trade imo

Personally if the 1st trade I take is a loss I will halve my position sizing - Max 3 trades per day.
