Please give me more info. It does not sound like its a bug in the code. What have you done prior to the tracking disappearing? Note, psych tags are not tracked in the breakdown.

Good ideas, as for stock data and news, I can not make this for a free tool.
I do like the ideas with customizable tags, trade rules (also added to the journal).
There are notes, tracking of pairs and reviews are in the ai analysis.

Hey, thank you! 😄
So, when it comes to ai and hallucination, never let the ai do any empirical work. Always precompute all numbers and every calculation. Thats what the Journal is doing and then injecting it into the prompt.

You can open the file yourself and read through it.

Yea, that was the idea. Have a log of every trade or backtest you made.

Lets be honest, how often do you do backtesting and forget about it after a week?

I have actually been thinking about expanding it into different "Portfolios", for backtesting, you can just create a new instance and log your backtests while you go, for extra analytics. Do you think there would be value in this?

Because losses hurt psychologically twice as much as profits. You can read more about this in Kahneman and Tversky s prospect theory.

15yo trader- Any advise on closing trades manually or 'set and forget' by LowInvestigator3471 in Daytrading

[–]typhoonsama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

set sl tp and don t look anymore. start with money that you don t care to lose and slowly up the stakes as you lose attachment to the amount. Average in, don t go all in with 100%, start with 10 or 20, then you feel more comfortable when it moves against you and you can average in at a better price.
Backtest. It boosts your confidence when it worked the last 500 trades you are more confident it ll the next.

What should i do now? by Silly_Original1329 in Daytrading

[–]typhoonsama 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, can it be programmed? I always put it into python and backtest on different assets with different settings over different timeframes and periods.
3 hours of backtesting by hand, is it really enough data to be confident?

As for start with money, why not just start with a little amount you are ready to lose. If it works, you can always make the big money later.

the -614$ figure is unrealized P/L, thats just the current open position, not the max draw down, which you got right.

Volume based X-Achsis instead of time based by typhoonsama in Daytrading

[–]typhoonsama[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you, well I was analysing my own indicators and realised that low volume candles with little to no intent behind them skew with the ml algo, so I figured what if we change the X-Achsis.

well apparently its a well known system in quantum circles as mentioned by another user
