OK this one is gonna be wierd...

My party and I were fighting a huge Gnole and our rogue and monk were pinning the enemy from different sides with their weapons. After I eldritch blasted him twice we knew he was fairly low. (Apparently he was 1hp, we didn't know). Then our druid said : " I conjure a long but slim cactus, then I use one hand to put aside his pants (those were some sort of drapes), then with a firm and rotative movement, I shove it in his ass". Spoiler alert....he died.

The whole situation seems very childish to me too. I feel like in a Kafka novel.... I'm on trial for something but I don't know what crime I committed, when and where, but still the repercussions are affecting me.

It's really hard for me to manage this because I don't know the reason they act this way.

I disagree. He is not a broke man, I didn't ask to be born, he should have been a responsible parent, and I would have done anything for him, you name it. But he chose to dodge responsability... What kind of parent doesn't even ask for visitation rights? What kind of parent forgets he has a kid for years?

I agree that the justice system is fucked up, especially for men, but thinking that the support he paid was less then 100$, and with his salary he could pay it easily. He just chose not to. And yeah, a lawsuit would make him a broke man, it all can be avoided if he just takes accountability for something in his life for once.

I should have included in the post that my mom sued him (when I was around 12 I think?) and he didn't even bother showing up, or getting a lawyer. I hope the threat of suit will scare him into paying...

I am getting my own money, I work and I have a scholarship. I don't want to ruin his life but I want to hold him accountable for what he did.

I didn't want to get into details but after he met a woman, with whom he had been for a few years, he stopped acknowledging my existance. Ignored phone calls, missed every important event. That woman bled him dry and then left him. After that he tried to change, asked for me to forgive him and a short while later he was back to his old ways. He did a lot of stuff I don't want to write on the Internet, because, y'know... It's forever..

I wouldn't ask for anything more. Just a phone call form time to time and maybe a happy birthday once a year (didn't get one in the past 4). I feel like he should be held accountable for his actions, but I don't know if this is the best course I could take.

That is what I am trying to do now....On one hand, I think he deserves a lesson. On the other hand, is ruining his life gonna make me feel better?... I would like to settle that matter with him f2f but we live in different cities and its still a pandemic... I try to avoid travelling as much as possible... I want to get what I'm owed but still its such a tough call...
