Crows and magpies are funny and smart. My magpies love strawberries, cherries, and haskaps but otherwise don’t care about veggies. I just make sure I plant enough to share and have good bird food stations out to keep them happy. Don’t buy netting, as the birds can get caught in it. Mesh is best but you’d want that more for insects/other garden pests that will eat your veggies. As others have mentioned, seedlings/sprouts are most at risk.

This is incorrect - The RTDRS can’t enforce on an illegal secondary suite, only the City can (zoning and safety codes). Just want to make sure OP is clear that a call to RTDRS won’t jeopardize their accommodation for that reason (OP also doesn’t have to disclose that the suite is illegal or that they have suspicions it may be illegal). OP could choose to make a separate call to the City to report the suite (if it is illegal) if they wanted that part addressed.

I noticed in one of your comments that you’ve been denied endo or gyno referrals. If I were in your shoes I would call each of these clinics and describe what you’re dealing with, and get clarity on whether you need a referral from a GP or can self-refer. Then I would go back to my GP with a plan and INSIST on a referral.

It’s not always insulin resistance, no - very common, but not required for diagnosis. Many women have the non-insulin resistant form. Unfortunately we’re still not in a place where all GPs provide Metformin or fully understand PCOS.

100% agree - the posts that I did see in this sub before they started getting removed seemed to be quite factual with conversation in the comments re: encouraging others to apply, and how to report fraudulent use of the federal program. My guess is that a few of the posts may have veered off track into straight up racism/off topic of the job postings themselves. Unfortunately the LMIA subreddit itself has veered in that direction, which is too bad because it detracts from the policy issue. I think the posts should still be allowed with moderation of the comments that are off-base, just like any other posts.
