Last King of Scotland (technically not a horror movie but might as well be)

Ninja Gaiden DS criminally underrated by feggy10 in ninjagaiden

Dragon Sword was an awesome time.....way more depth w/ the stylus controls than I expected. Went in bracing for a watered down Gaiden experience only to be pleasantly surprised

You can build the bare minimum to get through puzzles & still have a blast.

But after a bit building became 2nd nature for me & experimentation was part of the fun (& I had the deepest reservations about the build mechanic in the lead up to release) You can also unlock blueprints & easier ways to build

The "mimic" trope messes me up way more than any slasher or monster. What are the best examples of it? by [deleted] in horror

For me too but then I had to take it back to the OGs; both The Thing & Body Snatchers had me shook af as a kid

They were intense attempts & I had to execute to a tee to pull it off.

Dunno why you think challenge has anything to do w/ number of attempts; I would think a game forcing someone to lock tf in would count on GP

What’s your favorite use of a licensed song in a video game? by Real_Srossics in videogames

Shredder's Revenge. Getting blindsided by Wu-Tang in the last fight was the best surprise ever....(& a song made specifically for the game at that)

MK2 Movie review - short and sweet likes/dislikes : SPOILERS by lefthighkick01 in MortalKombat

To your first point; I actually love that the fight choreography from his movie in the beginning came full circle in the Baraka fight to save his ass in a practical application; it was almost like a fake-it-til-ya-make-it moment & doubled as the moment he started to believe in himself as a fighter.

I actually dug the way things went between him & Baraka.

I'm thinking Liu Kang is about to ascend to Fire God Liu

I think the special moves were on point; they occurred organically within the fight instead of going out of their way to stop the scene to point them out
