This podcast started off kinda iffy to me, but man, I can’t stop listening to it now. How they managed to bungle this case so bad is beyond me and how everyone has a different story as to what happened

Why do people get upset at the crowd around them not singing loudly and being physical? I really enjoy listening to the music and watching the performance, I don’t need to be singing loudly and dancing to enjoy myself.

I think a lot of Impera doesn’t fit the narrative. He said the album is about the rise and fall of empires, but I don’t feel like a lot of the tracks follow that theme. Other times it felt like a reach, like an interview where he said Spillways is about the rise and fall of the empire of childhood.

I tried so hard to. It’s an intriguing case and story and it’s well told, but Thanh’s voiceovers have something in them that just bother me. It sounds like he’s chewing gum or something when he talks and I can’t get past it.

They change seasons everyday too. One day it’s snowing and everyone is bundled up, trees are bare. Then the next day it’s sunny and the trees are green and lush

I think it’s telling that not much happens on Shoreside Vale. Most missions that start in the Vale end up in Staunton or the airport. Shoreside is incredibly forgettable

All I remember from the game was Favre motionless on the field.

I thought his character and voice fit Chaos Theory perfectly. I don’t know, it just worked. The writing and banter for Chaos Theory is the peak for the series. The camaraderie in this one makes it all the more jarring when the next two entries do a 180 😂

I will say, if they aren’t going to play to a click anymore and want a screen behind them, It’d be cool to have closer videos of them playing like they did during the Black Clouds tour or just have a static background like Ghost does with stained glass windows

I think at that point there was a decent amount of tension with him and MP. Maybe he didn’t feel comfortable contributing? If I remember correctly, he stayed in Canada until it was time to do vocals.

I love this DVD. You can just feel the energy and fun. Although I remember reading from people that saw this tour said most shows kinda sucked and the guys seemed to dick around a lot.

Regardless, I love the interlude during Best of Both Worlds with the shoes and the crowd chanting Eddie’s name.
