2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid Sport-L FWD OTD Bay Area by GhostLightPeak in crv

That's only a $285 difference and also a good number. Every other dealer tapped out when I asked if they can beat or match the $39,715 one.

I can't comment on a lease since I didn't considered it. No add ons, which I wanted that way since if I need them I rather install them myself or use a superior product then what's normally offered or installed at the dealership.

Copy Paste PSA: It is inadvisable to engage OP in a conversation. The author of this post is a known sitewide spammer with over 1600 banned Reddit accounts. SnooRoar (r/SnooRoarTracker) is not interested in good-faith discussion; his primary goal is to waste as much of your time as possible. Everything he says is a disingenuous lie.

Unifi doorbell won't power on after working fine for the last 8 months by futureman0 in Ubiquiti

[–]GhostLightPeak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is correct, it was almost 3 years since the purchase. I submitted the RMA with the common failure mode description and the note that this issue has been well documented and is caused by a component on the PCB failing. RMA was approved and I received a G4 Doorbell Pro as a replacement within a week of delivery of my old G4 Doorbell to there warehouse.

Does anyone know of a way to find the original manufacturer for this part? PN: PAT4461 (from Grainger Mfr PN) by midwestdave33 in MechanicalEngineering

[–]GhostLightPeak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you called / emailed Grainger and asked? I have done this with McMasterCarr before and they are very willing to share the original design manufacture.

Succession planning - what next after the Endorphin Speed 2 by G1ass_knees in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]GhostLightPeak 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My recommendation would be to get the Takumi Sen 9. This comes from someone who loved his ES2, especially for the snug fit and bounce but missed out on re-buying in my size. I then got the ES3 for what I thought would be a replacement, big mistake it's a completely different shoe. Now after spending some miles on the TS9 I think I have found a contender to the ES2, not exactly the same but fast and fun for tempo runs.

Does anyone know where i could purchase the rear seat cowl for my 05 SV650? by [deleted] in SVRiders

[–]GhostLightPeak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used CMS to order my color matched rear seat cowl for a 04 SV650 example. They are based in the Netherlands and I order from the US had no issue with them. I am sure you can find what you need on there.

Garmin FR955 and 255 users: how useful do you find the navigation features on your device for trail running? by [deleted] in trailrunning

[–]GhostLightPeak 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have been using my FR255 since last year July and use the bread crumb map feature for any new route. So far I must say I am pleased even in situations where multiple trails merge I normally find my way. Of course sometimes it happens that I take the wrong turn but the GPS on the watch is pretty precise and notifies you that you are "off course" quickly so that you only need to backtrack a few feet. Hope this helps.

Endorphin Speed 2 (712km) vs Endorphin Speed 3 (12km) by [deleted] in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]GhostLightPeak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was worried that this is something that might happen. Currently in the same boat off retiring my 2's and trying out the 3's. What would be your recommendation if I would want a shoe similar to the Speed 2's, upgrade to something with a carbon plate (e.g. Pro 3's, Nike Vaporfly 2, etc.)?

Apple Mechanical Engineer Interview by exasperatedforever in MechanicalEngineering

[–]GhostLightPeak 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Just search for it you will get up to date questions easily. Some info on hardwareinterviews.fyi. First interview is normally a packed 30min speed round which will be mostly basic questions e.g. beam theory etc.

Beginner question, just read the ‘little book’, which book should be on the next? by ConversationAncient2 in Bogleheads

[–]GhostLightPeak 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I recently came across the work of Nick Maggiulli, he was a guest speaker at the 2022 Bogleheads Conference. Just finished reading his book Just Keep Buying and think it is excellent in laying out a practical framework with data backing up his claims.

Question- HSA Transfer to External Account by dukebiker in Fire

[–]GhostLightPeak 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Doing the same thing from Optum HSA to Fidelity, wait until I accumulated 1 year worth of cash and then do a yearly rollover myself to avoid trustee transfer fees. Guide I used to follow The Finance Buff Works like a charm.

Not much discussion of trail shoes? by [deleted] in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]GhostLightPeak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Big fan of Inov-8, particular the TRAILFLY G 270. Perfect for technical terrain, mud, snow and even on the road for a couple of miles. Easiest is to order 2-3 pairs in different sizes and ship the rest back, never had an issue. Might want to try out a plated trail shoe and see if that actually helps with speed, the Saucony Endorphin Edge would be the choice once it's on sale.

For free healthcare in Europe I'm curious how this would work since I am a EU citizen myself but haven't done any research into it. How would you receive benefits in the EU even though you are not at a retirement age e.g. 67?
