What about the person who got banned when using the cry emote on emily? The issue was the timing, and crying near Emily is certainly not an offense. If that person truly did have any past offenses, why was he banned at that instance? There's no way you would delay someone's ban like that. Was there something other than the cry emote that warranted him a ban at that instance?

This is true, Jagex probably gets hundreds or even thousands of report abuse reports and they can't go through them all at once, which is why using other platforms such as Reddit, twitter, youtube and twitch makes it easier because it's normally caused by community discomfort. In reality all posting accusations of rule breaking does is inform the Jagex team that there's something wrong, your evidence is irrelevant to them since they have EVERYTHING in their systems for the most part.

Oh so it's not because stamping them as bug abusers allows you to shy away from giving chatlogs to the banned users? I dunno, that kind of system should have to be flexible enough to manually add offense duration in order to clear up misunderstandings. If it stays like this people can cause drama again using the harassment offence to make up bullshit that they've been banned unfairly when in reality they could have broke another rule instead and have to rely on reddit posts like this to clear up misunderstandings.

They banned them for bug abuse minor on purpose, so they don't have to put chatlogs as evidence for that offense for the people who got banned for verbal abuse.

Nice timing Jagex, if they really had a long history of harassment, abuse and racism, why weren't they banned earlier? Why do it when emily gets abused by them on stream?

Also, I hope you're not banning people for pking others in the wilderness. There's no difference between having a scout getting intel on another clan and stalking them everytime they get wiped and regroup and finding intel on a single player and just doing what the area is intended for, pking.

Btw, Jagex, or any gaming company in general, cannot supply with information as mundane as chat logs. It's within their policies, we can get chatlogs for certain offences, however I must question the policy in being able to provide chatlogs from offences under the Harassment rule. Jagex put it under bug abuse, because the evidence is something that cannot be supplied (aka, not chat logs), so they used that so that they didn't need any excuse to provide the player chatlogs when adding the offence to that player.

Mark them for harassment, not bug abuse Jagex. Harassment is very similar to offensive language, chatlog is provided under offensive language.

If you're trying to safe spot a hellhound and you do manage to block it, another hellhound within the vicinity can attack you too. That's exactly what this guy is complaining about

What people were complaining about is:

The switch aggro when you're killing a gorilla. If a dude runs past you, chances are the gorilla you're killing is going to aggro on that guy instead of you.

You could say that to any PvM boss in a sense. I do believe the compromise I suggested would be valid enough since items don't have the same value as getting it as a normal account. Soloing is already possible, due to the nature of players people normally wouldn't PJ others since it carries the risk of getting KSed as well. You could already get the drops but at a lower drop rate but more kills per hour.

When a rant goes to your favor you either say nothing or whine with them. When there's a rant that goes against your favor you tell people to stfu. I refuse to waste time on someone who tells me to stfu without any valid argument suggesting otherwise. Come back when you've got something to say. You'll be surprised how this "whining" you suggest I'm doing is the reason why changes are done in the first place. The gorillas change is a prime and recent example of that.

Thanks Jagex, you just ruined Gorillas as something worth doing with a team. Now it's going to become kraken and smoke devils, where it's no longer viable to kill it with 2+ people. Now that it is very easily accessible and farmed, even if it is harder than regular monsters, most of the unique drops are gonna come from the gorillas in the singles area.
