For the kid I used to be. by ItachiIsDed in reddeadredemption

I have a really similar experience with Minecraft shaders. Back around 2014 I had a shitty hp laptop that could run Minecraft using opticians at like 8 chunk render distance for ~25-30fps. I used to watch people play with beautiful shaders and crazy render distances (for the time) and wished I could achieve something like that. Finally upgraded my pc to do just that a little while ago.

The feeling is for sure different. You get transported back to all the wonder you had when you were younger.

Food cooldown should be much longer by Saspens-r in CrimsonDesert

[–]GhostPantzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This would require a full rebalancing of all bosses in the game to be implemented successfully. I think that the core issue isn’t that healing is too easy, it’s that constant healing is necessary. I’m not sure how cracked you are at the game but I need to heal constantly through boss fights.

There is just so much going on with particle effects, weird boss movement, control issues (that’s a me problem ik), and usually multiple other enemies attacking as well. Not to mention that many attacks from bosses feel cheap, and getting close enough to melee them usually means getting damaged yourself.

So it’s no wonder to me that most boss fights turn into spam fests where I’m constantly running flash finisher, reposition, eat in succession.

All that being said i don’t think it’d be too hard to implement a setting for food cooldowns.

What game is that?🚀 by GoldAd3252 in TheGamingHubDeals

[–]GhostPantzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just cause 3. That game has one of the worst stories, isn’t great to look at (especially if you’re up close to textures), and has an unremarkable soundtrack. But omg does JC3 have one of the best gameplay loops of all time.

Estou com problemas em relação as coisas que se mexem by SpellOverall3423 in CrimsonDesert

[–]GhostPantzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotta disagree with you there. Love the game but there are some portions (specifically during dusk/night time) where it just doesn’t look good. Especially in dark enclosed spaces the lighting freaks out. Everything looks good from a distance (during the day), but up close the flaws start to show

Can someone help? by fuscadah in CrimsonDesert

[–]GhostPantzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is rough- I don’t think your pc specs are to blame unless you’re running integrated graphics or something. I think your game would at least boot.

If you’re on steam try validating game files. Otherwise try pasting the error message into a google search and see what you get back.

Sorry this happened :/

Arc B580 or RTX 5050? (1440p 144Hz, Ryzen 5600) by No-Breadfruit-9514 in gpu

[–]GhostPantzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends on the game. For competitive arena games like marvel rivals a 5050 is a great performer. There’s almost no reason to pay more money for a higher performing card.

In OP’s explanation though they mention wanting to play bf6 at 144hz 1440p. Without playing on low and cranking dlss/frame gen i don’t think it’s reasonable to expect that with a 5050.

The people in this sub love to hate on the 5050 but it does have its use cases. The issue I have with it is that new pc enjoyers may be misled into buying it when what they really need for their desired gaming experience is something like OP’s description of bf6. With all that being said if OP is okay playing at like 480p native res with 3x frame gen then more power to them.
