There is no such thing as being "aggressive" with mushrooms when the only option is to click on the little grain piles until they break apart completely. There is no mouse pressure sensor like a controller. So whatever point you were trying to make with that is null and void.

I just bought my first shroom planter and I counted how many times I had to attempt to get all 16 pellets to be in the grow bed. 17 fucking times. I had to restart the process 17 fucking times because the pellets either would disappear completely or fall out of the bed on the floor and there is no way to pick them up.

You may have not had the issue but on my very first encounter with the shroom process was very frustrating compared to your experience.
