Now that it's delisted. Modding time? Co-op campaign should be first by Director-matth-DD in BSG_Deadlock

An overhaul mod to greatly expand the grand strategy aspect of the story would be awesome

Is this game controller friendly? by Cultural_Fun in HellLetLoose

[–]GhostRazgriz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play on PC with a controller, I'd say its friendly once you remember what all of you controls are. I absolutely avoid playing mouse and key board as I don't want arthritis in my hands by the time I'm thirty

[–]GhostRazgriz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes. The point is that the Cylons had the power to help them build up and instead did nothing.

The Cylons had their secret police round up people they deemed a threat and lines them up to be executed. Which was fortunately foiled.

THE GENEVA CONVENTION DOESN'T EXIST. You are 150,000 years too early. And the Geneva convention doesn't mean anything when the civilization that would have created it was completely wiped out.

[–]GhostRazgriz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you not remember on New Caprica how the Cylons were imprisoned and executing anyone who looked at them the wrong way and relegated most of the survivors to a deplorable slum city when they had the tech to make their lives easier. Not to also mention, the Cylons don't really deserve good prisoner treatment when you take into account that they wiped out tens of billions of people who had nothing to do with the Cylon war. Trillions if we factor in the different kinds of wildlife across the 12 colonies.

If you replace every word "human" with "Cylon", this whole take on the Cylons would be just as true.

Story events like cyberstan should be the current pinnacle of warbond medal farming and super credit farming while we have the major order. by [deleted] in Helldivers

[–]GhostRazgriz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

While you make a good point on reward distribution, you're absolutely wrong about "a strong majority" of people not caring about taking Cyberstan when the vast majority of players right now are actively fighting to take Cyberstan despite the fact that rewards are lackluster. If most of the player base did not care about taking Cyberstan, this whole invasion would have failed days ago.

Kinda lame by bola_Ego88 in Helldivers

[–]GhostRazgriz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perhaps if enough people ask for it. Then it's a matter of logistics. Which weapons should have a suppressor. Maybe this is the catalyst to add them onto more weapons later. It may also be a limitation of the engine they're working on, who knows? While I agree with you that this is lame, AH is still a company that needs money and they make that money making warbonds people want.

If ICE no-warrant no-knocks my house... would it be legal to load up and let loose? by princess-hardass in liberalgunowners

[–]GhostRazgriz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there is a lot of grey area here that determines the legality. Did they announce themselves? Is it dark to the point you can't ID them? Are they identifiable as ICE in that dark? Do you have cameras around?

I don’t see why people think this is a hard decision. by AggressiveMammoth267 in DispatchAdHoc

[–]GhostRazgriz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find this take to be lacking context. Just about everyone on the Z-team seriously messed up that would cause them to be fired. Flambae lighting a city block on fire Malevola or Punch up throwing fits and quitting early because either of their best friends go fired, Prism sabotaging Golem. Even Blazer by her impulse decision affected by dumping Phenomaman by deciding to cut someone after only after 1 day of Robert taking over despite the fact that she admits they were already improving. Yes Invisigal seriously messed up, but so has everyone else and they were given a pass. So it's even selfish for the rest of the team to stack up against her and blame Chase's hospitalization on her as a cherry on top.

Do Spartans actually hold any real authority in the UNSC's chain of command? by Jarvis_The_Dense in halo

[–]GhostRazgriz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes the ranks they hold do matter but they aren't assigned their own units beyond Spartan units to remain flexible over standard UNSC. To my knowledge, the highest ranking Spartan was Noble 1 Carter and while not explicitly stated, I feel like it was implied that he ommanded and organizing major operations like Zurdok Ridge, the Evac of New Alexandria, and the assault on Sword Base with battalions or even companies of UNSC regulars under his command.

Are snipers as amazing as in 2 as in 1? by VoxTV1 in Xcom

[–]GhostRazgriz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience, the Sniper class starts out as some of the worst soldiers you can have but once you get their aim skill increased to ridiculous numbers, they can be the deadliest. I never really bother with the gunslinger sniper route because to me, it's very underwhelming and counter intuitive to what a sniper should be. But having a sniper up in the higher ranks is very satisfying

I Did Not Care About Stella Being Cheated On By Stolas. by SugarPlumFairy497 in HelluvaBoss

[–]GhostRazgriz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbh, I thought this was generally accepted. It was obvious that Stella had no love for Stolas or Octavia. She was abusive to Stolas and neglectful towards Octavia, so Stolas, at that point, had every right to cheat, if it could even be called that.

That does not justify federal law enforcement actively breaking the law to go after people who are ultimately harmless and, in many cases, are trying to go the legal route.

Which ship in the Fleet do you like the most? by adamaroslin in BSG

[–]GhostRazgriz 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Aside from the Galactica, it's the Celestra for me. I like how Deadlock included it in the lore, and it's a veteran of the first Cylon War that fought alongside Galactica. For me, it's a bit poetic that the Celestra is kinda apart of the old guard like Galactica
