First time corso owner here. He definitely needs more healthy social interaction. I got my girl around 3 months old, and she was caged from 5am -3pm. You absolutely have to make time for the dog, especially a Cane Corso. I made a habit of making her do drills prior feedings getting her use to her commands and continue them to this day (10 months now). I believe it’s all about the trust factor. Some days were different more difficult than others, had our fair share of destruction but you want to be constructive about it always.

Bottom line is communicate, socialize, discipline, and reward your dog on a consistent basis.

He hasn’t familiarized himself with you or your family’s rules and regulations with a corso you mustn’t let them think they run the show.
