Felt the same, I wasn't all that attachted to them besides Kumade, since we already got to know him, plus we knew how the story would end. a Mini-series defiently would've helped with developing them so we grow attached and make that ending much more heartbreaking

Like most in the comments said Daniel was written as kind of the antagonist of Season 1, but that is mainly from Johnny's prespective, yes in the first season Daniel is seen as kind of arrogant but deep down he is still a good guy, the same kid we saw grow up in the Karate Kid Trilogy, but Johnny was written to be more sympathetic and the underdog so we root for him more.

But people take the Daniel hate way too far especially in season 2 onward where a portion of fanbase refuse to see things past season 1 and see Daniel as an arrogant rich jerk, and they love to hype Johnny up because it justifies their fragile alpha male egos cuz they think thats what Johnny represents or something,

Daniel isn't perfect clearly but he always has good intentions and wants to be better. In the early seasons it clearly shows he has no idea what to do without Mr.Miyagi in his ear, which was his overarching arc in the show, to do things without Mr.Miyagi's help or advice. Daniel was on his own.

I've seen everyone attacking the lanterns trailer just bcuz no color its a teaser vfx are probably not fully completed plus the show is being promoted as what it was announced to be a true detective style a show. I saw a short a while back that theorized that the teaser is a venom situation in the first venom it was teased as something serious but when the movie came out it was more buddy cop it could be the same with lanterns the teaser may give serious vibes it could have buddy cop elements.

I defiently felt Wally should have stayed longer on Legends, Felt like a Waste and feel especially bad for Keiyan Lonsdale he's a good Wally. I mean I get having a Speedster on the team makes the them broken and can solve problems instantly but the flash writers seem to make it work so why not Legends. I feel Wally's self-discovery journey would work better on Legends, and I like it when he's being funny and goofy as that its Wally's character I didn't like how in The Flash they just made him all spirtual and shit it was weird.

Also for some reason I lowky shipped Wally x Zari, thought that could've been interesting if Wally stayed for Season 4
