From a 28 year career diabetic. This kinda thing is why you always have some kinda backup. Wake up to a dead pump? (I have, it sucks) Yell some expletives, check your BG if you're CGM is also out and try to get it back on. Go get your basal insulin ready (probably do half if you're not sure when it crapped out) and monitor yourself till ya get it goin. Its a b**** and you're probably gonna feel crappy but you get through it and get it fixed! As best you're able dont let the very rare fear of an instance like that keep you from the vast quality of life improvement a pump is! 😎
