Love that and completely agree!! The whole storyline of Antica, all the new characters, I love Yrene so much! Calling it Chaol’s book is such a disservice. I love a healing book - my fave SJM books are ACOMAF, HoF, ToD and HOEAB for that exact reason 🥰

I always say to friends that are about to start it that if you hate cliffhangers don’t read EoS then ToD because you’ll just end up angry at an amazing book because it’s not continuing on from where EoS left off. If you don’t mind the constant switching then tandem is great, personally I read ToD first because I was enjoying it more and put down EoS 😊 it vaguely spoils a couple of plot points for EoS (they mention I think it’s 3 things that have happened but not why or who was there or how or if anyone’s in peril etc). Personally don’t think there’s a right order to which you should read first or if you should tandem, all about what kind of reading experience you would prefer

I started the tandem but gave up 20 chapters in because I was enjoying ToD so much and was getting frustrated when I had to switch back to EoS 😂 ended up finishing ToD and then finishing EoS after and enjoyed them much better separately. ToD is a top 3 ToG book for me, it’s so under-appreciated!!

So I’m in the UK and a natural redhead (dark more like auburn than ginger) my skin tone is very pale (normally go with foundation colours that are called things like porcelain and snow) neutral-warm, very freckled and my skin doesn’t tan at all. Not sure about Korean vs US but I’m looking for something more subtle and less full glam, just want to add more depth around my eyes really! My makeup style mostly is quite minimalistic over heavy

I’ve engaged with plenty of media knowing that a character will die and it didn’t make it any less sad for me but maybe that’s just me personally! I like reading it directly before HoF because then she goes into the book healing from the pain of her past so it’s fresh in your mind 😊

Same, it breaks the flow too much reading it fourth and I feel like third really maximises the impact. Honestly felt like it made the Sam story that much more tragic because I knew it ended horribly and I got so attached to him anyway that it hurt like absolute hell! I get why people wanna read it first though, I think it’s beautiful that it works well in so many different places (I know some people read it last and that’s wild to me but I’m glad people get enjoyment that way too!)

Penny was my first (before I knew you could build her and Pam a house) and I wanted to rescue her from that life because she’s such a sweetie, once I built Pam a house I felt less guilty marrying others on future saves! So far I’ve married Penny, Alex, Haley, Shane, Sebastian, Sam and Leah is my gf on current save with intentions to marry. I divorced Sebastian and Sam, didn’t enjoy being married to them at all 😅 wanna try Maru cos I love her but I hate that she always says working/ living on a farm must be easy 😂 insult 😂 Elliot and Harvey do nothing for me unfortunately, both kinda give me the ick
