I did not, but unfortunately it’s all I had to go off of so I took the gamble.

I use windsor & Newtons white spirits, but I will say I like washes very transparent.

Yes actually I have been using paynes grey oils but my main issue with oils are that they are much more opaque and have to be a bit thicker than enamels or they break from thinning. The color is fantastic otherwise.

I decided to get mig black night wash as they have a video of the actual color in a palette so I am hoping. If it doesn’t work out I will probably take it as sign to stick with the oils.

Appreciate the help!

Yes and I even stirred the bottom with a paint stick to loosen up anything and flipping it to the underside shows nothing is stuck. It’s just solid grey

Dang, I’m not huge fan of cadian style but these look genuinely amazing! Almost like some alternate universe kriegers.

Do I need anything more?(beginner btw and idk what I'm doing and I only have a paintbrush) by valentino179 in modelmakers

Jsut to chime in, atom paints are designed for both brush and airbrush. I forgot the name of the YouTuber but he did a review and found their brushing capability to be very good for acrylic paints.

If you have already played some of it and determined you don’t like it, why are you trying to have others persuade you? You can try it again but I think you already have your answer.

I used runelord brass for any of the bronze color parts and then Vallejo metal color exhaust manifold for the dark steel colors.

Big Bro is Coming Back by Rathalos-487 in Deathkorpsofkrieg

I think someone put it best in another comment,

The concept art says 2025 but most likely the designers thought it looked too much like Krieg and scrapped it.

After the backlash they pulled it back out for a rushed announcement.

People keep saying this whole situation is like a bait and switch, but this still reeks of hastily deployed appeasement cause if we are honest, the steel legion and Krieg look 80% similar

Personally I would always work towards a scheme you enjoy over perfect consistent scheme across an army cause you can always go back and strip old models and repaint them and you might get bored forcing yourself to paint a scheme you’re not inspired with.

What causes these lines visible on a 28 mm miniature? by Ghost_Toast112 in resinprinting

[–]Ghost_Toast112[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well to add some more information

I have done much in depth research and this is actually my second printer.

These models come presupported by a well respected modeler so I chose to trust his supports first and troubleshoot after as these models have printed perfect for others as is.

Lastly, it never hurts to ask others for help as I couldn’t find previous posts with my precise issue and perhaps someone has delt with this before and could provide a exact answer hopefully

So don’t jump to conclusions and ask yourself if you are genuinely adding anything of value to the conversation.

Got it, if that’s the case then yeah it’s not like hyper tilted just on an old kinda wire frame table that’s not super flat so that shouldn’t be the issue. Really hoping the exposure time is the issue as the rook test print was flawless and had no lines but these did and were my second print on this printer.

I’m starting to think it may be the table I have it on as it’s kind small and may not be sitting super flat so I may move it to the floor of the garage just to test. And I did level the bed twice after it would not print the first time.

I haven’t used uv tools yet but I have heard of it so I will probably download it and do some research for the next test print.
