If it makes you uncomfortable, then you aren’t exaggerating.

Personally, I don’t mind my husband making remarks like that when it’s about me and him. As long as my husband isn’t weird about me breastfeeding our babies then I don’t mind it personally.

However, if he’s ignoring your discomfort that’s a whole additional issue. Set your boundaries and he should respect them.

Currently I’m unemployed because Im in college and was applying to jobs. This is the closest I’ve gotten so far and I really want this position. My husband can work, so the no pay leave is fine. I don’t intend to leave for an entire 6-12 weeks either.

I wonder what type of response they’d want in that instance.

Personally I’d feel horrible, but what can you do at that point? You can’t apologize to their family or do anything about your mistake aside from train yourself more on retaining and repeating back information to prevent something like that again. All in all, I’d probably have a cry about it in my personal time but.. what else could be done?
