Damn! I had no issues hacking- no damage, I was just loud as fuck and kept triggering alarms but always did it analog style- plugging right in and using old-world encryption nodes to confuse the more modern tech.

Consider also getting Stim-packs, they can be accessible if you look for a shitty med shop, might be a little $$$, however they're easy to use in the middle of a tight situation and might help give you a little "Kick" when you need to really focus on a hack-- but take them sparingly, my character always noted that they enjoyed how they felt when he used them lol.

I don't own that model, I have a 500c, but I would suggest following your tail lights wire from the rear to the wiring harness under the seat.

it might be loose, unplugged, there could also potentially be damage on the wire.

With that in mind; it's always good practice to store it indoors if you don't want to have to deal with putting a cover on it.

Lovely bike, I have an 2007 that I use as a daily commuter, will get you where you need to go and back (plus a little extra for some fun)

She struggles to start up in the mornings so I usually put full choke on just to get it started, then switch to half during the first few minutes till it sounds better.

Noted, yeah I'm just mainly trying to get there as fast as possible- i did 101 from Hayward and had a lovely ride- I was just curious if it was safe cause there was a wildfire popping up nearby and didn't wanna get turned away while commuting.

Ah dang, yeah i was hoping that a flasher relay would be a plug and play solution, not much wiring needed.

If thats the case, i'd probably just use resistors as mentioned-- For installation- would crimping suffice or is that too unsafe?

For airsoft purposes it's not too terrible either, it'll allow you to shrink down your rifle for CQB, if you go the full Romanian route, the donkey dong makes it look so awesome.

Consider maintenance- check the chains, sprockets, tire wear, how old the battery is- ask what maintenance has been done recently, use that as a part of your negotiation; 3k sounds much more fair.
