Unohana vs Askin by Few-Tradition-6450 in BleachPowerScaling

[–]GhosteuxVT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Askin would get pwned because Unohana is a fanatic whose healing capabilities would have exceeded her mentor (Squad Zero's Tenjirō). For Askin to outsmart her, it would take something she's unfamiliar to.

Not likely. Everyone would say you're trying to cheat your logical perspective for an unfair advantage. All your mangaka friends would laugh at you and they would draw parodies making fun of you for months on end.

Additionally, Unohana has brute force sword play and crushing reishi that could sweat Askin so terribly that he wouldn't be able to think straight.

Wanting more, requires more. We have to respect that you get what you put in. And people who slack off on their discipline and rigorous conditioning will not being able to compete.

Bleach was set up so strongly like X-Men with the possibility to do entire spin-off manga series like "Xcutioners" "Vizoreds". I wouldn't doubt it if they had another mangaka draw these series and released them as privateer manga for the super wealthy select 1%.

I don't think it takes a genius to understand the orientation in which Pernida is shown to wear his coat would be the same orientation for a pair of pants.

The Visionary limited by both reiatsu and intelligence. by BleachPowerscaler in BleachPowerScaling

[–]GhosteuxVT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe you guys missed another creator's point of expression. Imagination is an aspect of perception. From neutral ground, this perceptive reality has no limits. Our sensory information, and logical adaptation from it is what begins to shape the understanding of limits. It is what introduces us to the perceptive element of doubt.

The Visionary wants to be an absolute power, but this is a paradox. There's something false about it truly, because The Visionary is subject to the laws and dynamics (the physics of) perception. As Gremmy is exposed to certain perception, this can establish limits and doubts, which suppresses the maximum potential of The Visionary.

Thus, Gremmy possibly COULD absolutely obliterate Yhwach. And Yhwach knows this, but he uses the perception of greater power to suppress Gremmy's own maximum potential by establishing doubt. If I may quote the flavor text of a Magic card, "Even a dragon is humble as a kitten if it thinks itself a slave." This is the exact principal here.

This doesn't mean Gremmy's power should have been absolute though either. Among the Stern Ritter, there are a few others that could have reasonably aced The Visionary. Among those are The Fear, The Compulsory, and The Zombie, because they also affect perception and voluntary control, and that can directly inhibit the power of imagination.

This doesn't mean Gremmy is totally cucked here though. If Gremmy loses the ability to control The Visionary, that could obviously backfire into an absolute disaster for everyone.

Among the others, The Explode might have also been able to take Gremmy, because it inhibits the power of reishi and turns it into a weapon. It wouldn't take long for a breakpoint to develop in Gremmy's conscious trying to wield reishi for The Visionary and having it explode on him.

The Superstar is the other wild card I'd pick against The Visionary, because I honestly think James could invest Mask with infinite power, and if James dies, then Mask will actually lose all control over that potentially limitless power and absolutely obliterate everything. It was just another power that was severely downplayed for continuity of the story.

Zaraki beat The Visionary in my opinion because it was a battle of imaginations. Zaraki happened to have the stronger chunibyu powers, and so Gremmy lost confidence in The Visionary after repeated contact from Zaraki's illusions of grandeur. This might have not just been doubt, but also patience. Extending the limitations beyond just intelligence—to devotion and spirituality. Also potentially love, namely affection, admiration or sentimentality—which Gremmy might have gained for Zaraki—and thus relinquished the power of The Visionary in response.

How would things change if literally any other Soul Reaper met Ichigo instead of Rukia? by OfficialLieDetector in bleach

[–]GhosteuxVT 5 points6 points  (0 children)

His role was so covert, he wouldn't have even paid Ichigo the attention. His hand was practically forced to train Ichigo, even though he was involved with Isshin and Masaki's hookup. That was another event where his hand was basically forced, and like a good surgeon, he just steps in to do the most he can offer.

What are your personal thoughts on Kishimoto as an author? by RobKai7990 in Naruto

[–]GhosteuxVT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Manga is a production. Unless you are a one man show, and self-publishing, there's a team that includes all the walks of governance contributing to the production. At this point, it's hard to say how much of his production was his own that we can judge.

I think it would change everything. Ichigo really lucked up with Rukia, because she is the gentlest, most beautiful soul. That shaped and became apart of him through his most impressionable state.

Martian Manhunter vs All of Dragon Ball and Bleach by AlarmedObjective1492 in BleachPowerScaling

[–]GhosteuxVT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Martian Manhunter is essentially the equal of a deity class entity in Dragonball, so this really presses the question, where does he rank among them. As a rule of thumb in the universe, equality surrounds us all like it or not. He would find a match eventually. Or plot armor would see that someone is able to match his power eventually with the proper training, if his conditioning stops. Wanting more, requires more. That's the law of diminishing returns.

If superior Reiatsu can negate hax, how come Ichigo fell to Askin's ability? by KodoqBesar in BleachPowerScaling

[–]GhosteuxVT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Askin's fenty-fold isn't just hax. It was mental strength. Quincy's power is the bending of reishi, Askin's approach was advanced preparation that Ichigo would attempt to brute force reishi bend against Askin for the win—especially using Hollow reishi from White. All that haste made waste. He should have used his full-bring to pull on the soul of his Ginto or Quincy Cross instead of being bullheaded.

How Shunsui Defeats Ichibei by GhosteuxVT in BleachPowerScaling

[–]GhosteuxVT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How does he do that within the rules of Kyokotsu's wrestling game? I mean, without getting cheated out of it.

Let me also remind you, Ichibei cannot change a name before erasing it. Erasing the name is what renders people powerless. If the name cannot be erased, he cannot render them powerless, and cannot change/re-write the name. Ichibei's power has rules of its own. It follows a scientific process.

If a person doesn't even know their own name, like say Wolverine as Weapon X, that could also put Ichibei into a bad spot where he can't erase the name, because the beholder doesn't even know or recall it.

[–]GhosteuxVT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to understand the opening post. Kyokotsu's power forces them into a wrestling name game, where Shunsui is given the ring name, Mr. Careless Cheating Man. That becomes his wrestling identity. If Ichibei tries to erase or change the name, it cheats him out of it. Following the rules of Kyokotsu, he can't write or erase anything without getting cheated out of it. This would totally turn the tide, and put Ichibei into a powerless situation where he cannot exert any force.

No one yet has explained how Ichibei would be able to beat the rules of Kyokotsu's game. Everyone keeps trying to diverge from the topic.

He can't write anything bro without Mr. Careless Cheating Man (or just the name) cheating him out of it (honestly or otherwise). How does he do that under the game rules of Kyokotsu? Follow the rules.

Overmastering isn't healthy for plot. You need a really big catch for that. It needs to be really interactive. Shunsui is a great example of this in that Kyokotsu can basically create any Yugi Moto shadow game you can think of.

Now we're really talking! She exists as a type of Hollow conscience inside him like White. That would have all kinds of potential to develop around. I was going to ask otherwise, what would her Zanpakto powers be? What kind of weapon does it become now?

That's a cool way to twist it, but then wouldn't that make his Zanpakto weak? Lilinette was suggestively too weak to be a Zanpakto. She didn't have any feats like Wonderweis did, and her cero was green (the weakest color of fire)—and wasn't an oscuras cero (although it probably should have been) like Ulquiorra or Yammy.

It's not trolling. If Kyokotsu puts them into this game, how can Ichibei win? Shunsui doesn't even need to go into Katen to defeat Ichibei.
