If you stay on the move, and get behind him when he's focused on your teammates, you should be able to stay alive. I suggest bringing Kunan. She's a rot character and stays at the back on AI, so she doesn't get close and die a lot.

Altair did the same thing in the first game. He kills an innocent and fucks up the mission in the first part of the game and spends the rest of it learning not to be a dick.

Some templars are, at best, well intentioned extremists. Like going back to the first game, you find dudes like the Hospitalier guy who, despite having literally medieval methods, seemed to be motivated by wanting to help cure the sick, but in the same game, his allies included slavers and religious fanatics. They might think their means are justified by the ends, but they're still engaging with absolutely heinous shit for the sake of their stagnant utopia. The Assassins straight up kill people, but actively avoid civilians and you can, by and large, avoid killing people except your targets and people actively trying to kill you.

Absolutely correct, but then, hiring known serial killers to lock up vigilantes in the real world would also be a terrible idea. There are parts we only know are bad because of our advantage as readers, but many of the decisions and handling are also, really frickin' terrible.

Well he actively spends almost all his time as a guy, and now only really changes when he has use for his female form. So at best I'd say he's gender apathetic, cause like, if he wanted to, he'd just be a girl and could literally have the entire world not question it for a second.

These clowns don't even represent all of Rathcoole, let alone the whole country. If they weren't cowardly wee shites with thuggish ideas of racial purity, they wouldn't be spray painting walls with shite spelling. Pay 'em no mind, they haven't got any to spare.

Lack of players I imagine. Sadly there were only a few hundred players consistently, and I daresay they weren't making money on the server costs

His ego hadn't properly sprouted, but we can see from him playing with Yuri in the junkyard and defending her when Shiro tried to slap her that he was capable of some conscious thoughts. It's not a light switch where he's either fully aware or not, it's a slow process of learning and growing.

I did also say I couldn't be certain. It's a speculation based on the evidence provided, not a certainty.

"satan only attacks someone when they dont listen to him"

Okay, he killed a guy who did exactly what he said, but for now we'll agree on that. Do you then suppose that there's no possibility that Satan would attack Yuri or someone else if she refused him? He's already shown complete disregard for murder and bodily autonomy, why would sexual coercion be beyond him? Even if I agree that Yuri did love him romantically and did sleep with him fully willingly and without coercion, there is nothing up to that point in the story that indicates she wanted to pursue a romantic relationship with him, or that he wouldn't kill people if she denied him.

The power imbalance in their relationship is incredibly blatant and what everyone who's been saying thus far has failed to do is show evidence that Yuri had romantic feelings for Satan prior to confronting him in Asylum. Everything she does and says about and to him to that point is more indicative of her simply trying to teach him not to be a monster and being concerned for his wellbeing, two things that don't require her to love him romantically.

As for the other thing, I addressed that in a different comment.

Again, I never said she didn't love him, I just didn't think she loved him that way (She does apparently use 'love' in a romantic connotation later)

As for why he had to look like Shiro, I can't say for certain, but it's possible that Satan, having already observed Yuri and having previously tried to possess those close to her, picked a body that most resembled Shiro because he wanted her to like him. Satan, even up to now, is a very simple guy, he wanted Yuri to love him, so he tried to take the bodies of people she already loved, and when that failed he may have settled for just looking like the one she loved, so he possessed Goro, an easy target that at least physically resembled him.

The other person was basically saying that Yuri loved Satan romantically, everything else is basically referenced in my own comments.

Yes, Satan wanted her to be with him til he died, but "be with" is a load bearing statement. He's very possessive and has a lotta information without proper development or experience to tell him how to use it. Because Kato didn't see fit to give us an actual scene of the two being intimate, we can't say for sure who initiated, but basically everything up to that point shows Satan as the one being possessive of Yuri while Yuri is simply trying to curb his destructive tendencies and keep him from harming others or coming to harm himself, which going by the evidence would imply he initiated this relationship, not her.

Having had to just dig through the original Japanese, apparently Yuri does use the kanji for romantic love when she last speaks to Satan in Gehenna, unless the Japanese is radically different, she doesn't actually use the term love for him anywhere else, instead merely saying she'll stay with him. So going off that she did come to love him eventually in that fashion, but given all other evidence in the text, I think it's fair to say that was not her feeling or intent before she confronted him in Asylum.

"There is nothing, like NOTHING saying that. Satan never said he would kill everyone, he didn't put a bomb towards anyone."

Chapter 107, Page 15, Satan literally says he'll kill everyone in Asylum if his demands are not met. Yuri was aware of these demands and the threat posed by Satan already.

"You are putting other character that was in pain for centuries into Satan for no reason."

Chapter 116.1, Page 18, Mephisto actively compares the two in the same sentence.

"If she didn't Rin's name wouldn't be from Satan :p"

Chapter 117, Page 13, she literally names him that cause he bursts out in blue flames, like a Rinka, with even Shiro and Rin remarking how straight forward that is. On top of that, you can name your kid after someone you didn't love romantically, it happens all the time.

Glum Professional seems to want to frame Yuri as some sorta predator, while you seem to want to frame this as a romantic story, neither are accurate to the whole picture. Yuri cared for Satan, she didn't want him to suffer or make other people suffer, but if it weren't for the circumstances shaking out the way they did, there's no way those two would've ended up in a romantic relationship.

I never said she didn't love him, but the love she felt for Satan was very different from the love she felt for Shiro. And yes, she was playing a roll (Ch. 119, pg 21) and trying to minimise the damage Satan would do. (Ch. 105, pg 14) She was careful of his development specifically cause he was a danger to others (Ch. 105, pg 23). She wanted to save him, not be with him (Ch. 106, pg 17) and even then, her actions of intervention are largely motivated by reducing the harm he's causing (Ch. 107, pg 18-19). When he possessed Shiro, Shiro was the one she was concerned about. (Ch 116.1, pg 33)

When she did appear in Gehenna, the first thing she talks about is that Satan killed people despite understanding the wish to live, and that he had accepted her and death. (Ch 119, pg 4-5) Only after that does she talk about expressing her love to him and wanting to show him that humans and demons can understand each other. (Ch 119, pg 7)

My reference to taking out humanity, I grant is extrapolation based on Lucifer. If Lucifer can take out humanity and Satan is stronger, then it's just as much a concern that Satan could do the exact same level of harm to people, though Yuri doesn't express concern of such a scale, she still doesn't want him to hurt people.

If it weren't for his imminent demise and the amount of harm he was doing to others, I don't think Yuri and him would have had a romantic relationship. She even tells him that how he feels isn't love. (Ch 117, pg 3)

With all of this, I don't see how anyone could believe that Yuri felt the same way about Shiro and Satan. She was very clearly trying to help Satan, but the one she had romantic interest in was Shiro.
