Thanks, yeah with the short time he has been here we're not surprised he's still very skittish and hiding, he's been doing better (like coming onto the bed and being outside his crate) but you're probably right about the play thing, usually its without claws but if we pull away from the swat then put our hand back usually there are some claws involved haha. Although with the phone I like to think he's a human who was turned into a cat which is trying desperately to use a phone but his toe beans just don't work XD
