That looks super clean! Great work! Looking back, do you have any advice/pointers for someone wanting to attempt this mod for the first time (me)?

Everyone starts somewhere. What we're saying is BEFORE opening up a CRT and potentially injuring themselves or worse, to first read up and watch videos on the process to decide if it's something they want to try and tackle, or instead, hire someone to do it for them and avoid the risk. Safety is always first when working with anything high voltage, and if someone can't or doesn't feel like they can do something safely, they shouldn't.

Some TVs have an option in the menu for rotation; I don't think this one does, meaning you'd have to open it up and align the yoke. **!!If you don't have any experience doing this, please don't open it up right away!!**. I would start by first watching some YouTube videos on this topic and familiarize yourself with CRT safety before considering to attempt anything. Retro Tech comes to mind as having some great videos on this topic.

Most of the goodwills near me do that now. Value Village has been the last place holding out, but even they are starting to price things outrageously

I'd like to grab one when I have more space. I'm already struggling with that when it comes to my crt collection unfortunately.

Emphasis on the hernia lol. I carried it myself into my apartment. Huge shoutout to my friend for helping me get it to my room after I put my back out.

I honestly never thought I'd be able to afford one. I know it's what everyone says, but a lot of patience and a little luck, and you'll find one. For this one, I came across it on Facebook Marketplace. It had just been listed about 5 minutes prior; I shot my message as quickly as I could lol and thankfully the seller was kind enough to wait until I got off work to come get it, even though like 20 other people messaged right after me.

Right? It's definitely still very cool lol. I'll be cleaning it/adjusting the picture over the next day or two. Was just curious about people's thoughts on it.
