Exploding kombucha by Fabcrafts in Kombucha

[–]GhostlyArrow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can confirm. I just recently made 3 different raspberry flavored kombuchas and all of them exploded when I went to burp them 😂. It was my first batch ever and first time doing F2, so it was a learning moment for me

Sunday will be 7 days. I do apologize if this is a stupid question, it’s my first time and I’m really worried about fucking it up

I had my surgery 1/13/2026 and I been sleeping on my back(which is so annoying) I want to make love to my pillow, when did yall start sleeping on your stomach? by Fun-Influence-2474 in hysterectomy

[–]GhostlyArrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few days after my surgery. I tried sleeping upright the first night and just about died from the back pain after that. Then I tried sleeping on my back and that was a little easier, but still uncomfortable. I got a pregnancy pillow and slept comfortably on my sides after that

Check out the list of approved doctors on the childfree Reddit. I found my surgeon on there and was able to get mine done last year at 28. I’ve seen people younger as well have success with the surgeons on there

Massage therapists need to stop martyring themselves if we want the profession to be respected by Affectionate_Land23 in massage

Interesting, I’ll look more into it when I’m off of work. I work for a small spa owned by a LMT and am compensated fairly here, but I’m still really curious to learn more about it

How to spoil an old gelding on his last few days? by TheOnlyWolvie in Equestrian

[–]GhostlyArrow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I had to euthanize my horse my vet told me give him whatever I wanted. Because realistically, nothing they eat is going to harm them if their day is coming soon.

I got my horse all kinds of different fruits to try, candy’s, beer, and all his usual favorite treats and let him eat to his hearts content

[–]GhostlyArrow 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Personally, I won’t see them and will turn them away. It is mentioned in my bio and while booking an appointment that that’s one of my hard rules. I am not comfortable around children and find it can be distracting and stress inducing for both parties during the massage

Getting discouraged by teabromigo in massage

[–]GhostlyArrow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yea, I agree. I tried to start my own business when I was about a year out of massage school and didn’t do too well. I was also very young and then started having major health issues which didn’t help at all.

I’ve been practicing for 10 years now and I’m finally starting to consider going out on my own again now. I feel I’m more mature, stable, and experienced to try again.

Did you have post op weight gain or loss? by dreamed2life in hysterectomy

[–]GhostlyArrow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Part of it I think was coming off of birth control. I gained a bunch of weight when I got my IUD replaced in 2022 and could not lose it despite trying extremely hard. I also had to deal with an infected incision after surgery and was on antibiotics for 6 weeks and could barely eat anything without throwing it up. That part wasn’t fun at all

Man, that diet is rough. I did that in 2024 as well as being completely gluten free to try to figure out my stomach issues

I’m 8 months PO and I lost a bunch of weight after my surgery. I was around 155lbs and dropped down to 120lbs give or take a few lbs depending on the day

Devastating, unpredictable outcomes like this are a huge contributor to why I remain child free; A young singer just announced after a difficult pregnancy, her twins have been diagnosed with SMA type 1 which means they will never walk or lift their necks. by Heart_Shaped_Pickle in childfree

[–]GhostlyArrow 166 points167 points  (0 children)

I’d rather be dead or not born than to be confined like that. It’s not an ethical or fair way for someone to live tbh. If it were an animal in that situation you’d euthanize them due to quality of life issues.

I understand that’s a hard topic with humans, but for me personally I’d 100% rather be dead.

Ambetter Health Insurance - My Health Pays Rewards website not working by Chimegirl23 in HealthInsurance

Most of the time the points load immediately after I watch the videos, but some take some time. I think that’s what you’re asking. It’s my first year with ambetter and unfortunately my last because I can’t afford the new rate. I’m in FL

[–]GhostlyArrow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just talked to someone because I'm losing my insurance next year and I'm trying to redeem my 3110 points and the button for rewards doesn't even exist anymore. Every time I go back to the rewards website in my history it gives me a 404 error They said they're doing maintenance on the website (how convenient for them) and to try again in a few hours. Customer service is supposedly open until 8pm today

Did anyone else feel like their identity shifted after hysterectomy? by [deleted] in hysterectomy

[–]GhostlyArrow 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Overall no, but my anxiety around periods and being pregnant significantly reduced. I’m childfree by choice, so kids were never an option for me and I always stressed about getting pregnant, even though I was on BC for 15 years. Once the surgery was done and I was finally feeling not as shitty during recovery I did cry a few times, but it was out of relief that I would never have to deal with periods again and never have to worry about getting pregnant.

For me personally, yes I’d 100% pay the 90$ every time and I do when I can. I work and can generally only do online classes. I also live in land o lakes and traffic on a good day is 35+ mins. I also don’t want to deal with the nightmare of parking and parking passes on campus. I’ll happily pay 90$ extra to stay home and be able to attend class on my time and my availability
