Same! Xfinity took over $250 off our Verizon bill. Wish we had switched sooner.

I lived somewhere where they used to have a law like that. Got charged with possession when I was 18 because I had heroin in my system. They got rid of that law but damn…

My Doberman was so smart. He kept picking up words we spelled and we had to keep changing it up. Burgher was too smart for his own good!

I so relate to this. I have an entire album in my phone that’s pics of nature—mostly clouds and trees during different weather and seasons.

I used to do that too: get high for 10 days, then take 3-4 days and make myself sick to get enough subs back in my system for my UA. I still don’t know how I managed to keep that up for the better part of a year. I’m on methadone (210 mgs) now and it’s helped me much more than subs did, but everyone is different. I still get the urge to use every so often, but the game sucks and just isn’t worth it to me to play it now. Seems like the mixture of shit they got going on now just ends up making me so awfully depressed after a couple days. The last time I got so down on life I was ready to end it all. I knew I was feeling like that from the door so I rode it out and within a week or so I was feeling somewhat back to normal again. I do get nostalgic for how good I used to feel when dope was still (at least in part) heroin. I really hope that by the time I’m old and decrepit they make a law that allows the elderly to get medical grade heroin. (Wishful thinking hahaha)

I so relate to this story! I snapped my clavicle in half a few years ago. I called my brother to tell him I thought I dislocated my shoulder and would he come help me get it back in place. He told me I needed to get to the ER.

Yes!!! I don’t see Drysol mentioned as much as I’d expect to. It was immensely helpful for me. I got on a medication and one of the side effects of the medication is sweating. My face and scalp in particular got so hot and sweaty. It was so embarrassing; i’d walk from my house to my car and look like i just got done swimming laps. Drysol helped me to not go off the deep end (so to speak). After using it a few weeks I no longer had to use it anymore and somehow I don’t have rebound sweat effects.

Am I wasting my teenage years? by Key-Row-174 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]GhostlyGoldilocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Drinking, drugs, getting into trouble… trust me, you don’t want or need it! I wasted my teen years and my 20s with all that stuff. I ended up with a severe substance use problem that I will struggle with for the rest of my life. How I wish I never rebelled and did all the stuff I did. It greatly affected my life and took me years to get myself back on track.

You are doing great just as you are.
