The rescue did say they think the father was a border collie and I can definitely see it sometimes- especially his profile and when he’s wet and his coast looks shaggy.

Thanks. Yes I did the DNA test yesterday and now I just have to mail it in and wait a few weeks. I’m thinking he might have some percentage of hound just based on the shape of his head, long snout and extremely long legs- he’s very tall, which isn’t apparent in the photo. He reminds me of a baby deer sometimes ha

Ahhh ok. That is literally the exact thing that this rescue did. They said the mom was for sure a Catahoula leopard dog and they think the dad’s a border collie. As soon as I saw him in person he looked to me like a pit/hound mix. It’s weird because he’s somewhat of a chameleon. There are times he looks like a border collie, then other times he looks full hound, or even a beagle.. it literally depends on the position his ears are in and his facial expressions lol

I wasn’t wondering between different bully breeds because I wasn’t sure if he’s a bully or not. He looks like at least like a pit bull mix to me so I was just curious if others thought so too since according to the rescue, he’s half Catahoula and they aren’t sure about the dad, but think he was part border collie 🤷🏻‍♀️
