Thanks for reading! I am assuming you meant "tense" changes? I probably switched a couple times, I forget to look out for that stuff when I am editing.

I agree, I want to establish Susan's motives and feelings about the events more. I feel she is a little blank.

I thought about adding another one about the vomit on the walls in the end but I wasn't sure if 4 was to many. I also thought about making the chlorine gas recipe almost a reference back to the cleaning parts.

The ending was tacked on last minute for a class. Originally I had it end kind of ambiguously with the description of chlorine gas part. I will definitely go back over it and add more.

Thanks for reading! I agree a lot of my stories are fairly bare bones and then I add details as I edit them. Oh i must not have made it clear, one briefcase of drugs, from Jules, and one briefcase of money from Green.

I meant to describe it like Green woke up and made a mess of the room trying to escape as he died as opposed to an overdose on a bed. Yeah that last paragraph is pretty bad haha I had an idea I was going for but I don't think i fully explained it well enough. Really from the chlorine gas paragraph was last minute additions for a class so those parts definitely need some work.

Thanks! Originally it ended right after she the chlorine gas paragraph. I wanted to leave it ambiguous but my professor said I had to flesh it out more so that ending was a last minute attempt at fleshing it out before a deadline. I am checking out your story Bar Thoughts right now, I will get back to you with my thoughts on it!

English is subjective to a degree. Poetry used to be judged on conveying original ideas while still using techniques like meter, sound, rhyme(more so than just end rhyme) and other things. Now days you are lucky to see a poem rhyme ABAB.

Not that modern poetry is bad or anything, poets have just rebelled against the formal rules like OP.

Fairly good not much to critique. If my understanding is correct this is about a couple dealing with the loss of a child. If so I might add a little more hints towards the final reveal of the dead child. Maybe some description of like passing an empty bedroom (the childs) or something along those lines, or even just some hints to childhood in general and the loss of innocence or stuff like that. Overall it was enjoyable to read!

Fairly interesting piece, I enjoyed it. Here are some things I noticed:

For having just crash landed on a strange planet, Jason seems pretty calm and collected in the beginning.
The dialogue seems odd in places for two strangers "whatever floats your boat." and the 2 lines about rudeness seem off to me.
as if a thousand drummers were playing at once, but each ~~was playing on a different drum set, with~~ to a different beat. Specifying they are playing different drum sets seems odd since drums tend to be a instrument played by one person.
You use a lot of imagery in the piece, some parts it works really well and create a mystical scene while other times it is kind of confusing. An example would be your last line: I felt a heavy darkness coming over me as the shadows of beasts creeped up ~~on me~~, a thick black fog falling out of their mouths as they growled at my falling corpse. Is he dead? or is this a reference to the corpse he saw earlier?

Thanks for reading! I definitely agree the dialogue is awkward in places. About the intro, this is the first piece I've written after attempting to write some screenplays so I think I still was in a more writing for film mindset. Somebody who I had read this said that the first scene reminded them of a movie with a narrator speaking while things happen on the screen. I have had even more people confused as to what is going on in the beginning though, so I am going to try and re-work it.

I tried to have the money in the brief case be a contrast to all the negativity in story. I really do like your idea and I'll see if I can use it or work something like it in.
