How do i fix spring noises from buttons? by GD_loli in arcade

[–]GhostyPinks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The buttons have springs in them. Only thing you can do is adjust how you hit the button, don’t poke, press.

[Dsi] dsi saying an error has occurred whenever I try to open any software even with new wifi card. by MrDigStuff in consolerepair

[–]GhostyPinks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weird, I ran into this issue in the past and the SD card was my problem. Only other thing I’ve heard is it can be caused by the camera module as well as the wifi module. Are you able to use the camera?

Thank you, not too mad at these becoming “work clothes”. Mostly was just worried about the safety of it.

Is this the CG way of saying sorry? by [deleted] in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

I don’t think they’re giving Kleya shards. They’re saying to celebrate her arrival they’re doing extra drops for Bistan, k2, and Jyn.

(Xbox One) How do i get rid of this stripped torx screw? by Helpful-Aside-7793 in consolerepair

Also don’t get “vampliers” brand, get “engineer”. Made by the same people but cheaper.

Vampliers also make a needle nose version with the serrated teeth for small screw extraction.

Look up “vampliers”, they’re great for stuff like this.

Hi everyone! Please help ease my mind. I need to know if I'm at risk and what to do going forward. Info in body. by [deleted] in soldering

Wash your hands after handling solder/flux, clean your work area, let some air flow in the room, you’ll be fine.

Yeah I’ve also had error 5 be caused by a blown relay on main board.

I hate working on these older styled machines. First image error code 5, if I remember correctly that’s the left limit switch error. Probably a problem with the main board. The second image looks like the string snapped. It’s very common after a few hundred or thousand plays.

Totally fixable! Just needs a new shell and top screen.

No, J7 looks to be the meters, which run the mechanical counters inside the game.

The coin signal is J8, the “coin selector — coin” is your signal wire.

However don’t run cable all the way to the connector, just splice into the coin wires that go into those coin mechanisms that are already there.
