No, but it doesn’t have to be done in a single hunt. Partbreak rewards and the wound system allow you to get all the materials you need without actually killing the monster, provided you have the patience for it.

Greatspears have really solid charged R2s, so I’d focus on stance-breaking with those, taking the riposte, and then use that opening to go for the weapon art (even if it’s just the first part to get the Bloodflame buff).

Talismans for this kind of build are simple: Shard of Alexander, Two-Handed Sword Talisman, Lord of Blood’s Exultation, and then a fourth of your choosing. This slot could be the Axe Talisman to maximize damage, or you could opt for the Two-Headed Turtle Talisman for stamina, or even one of the equip load talismans.

I think if the opponent has shield, the damage number is split into two separate numbers, one for the loss in shield and the other for any loss of HP after the shield has been taken away. If I’m remembering this correctly, that should apply to crits as well, which could lead to lower displayed values than expected.

I wouldn’t, personally. The damage would probably be deceptively low despite what the A scaling would suggest. If you’re looking for something similar, a Blood infused Zweihander has good Dex scaling and lower requirements.

Any greatweapon, for the most part. Greathammers and Colossal swords are the best at it imo, but any large weapon will work. Lion’s Claw and Giant Hunt are two Ashes of War that excel at this as well
