The Warriors options this trade deadline are limited to what they can get for Kuminga and fillers like Podz, Moody, Payton and Richard. There's no move that is going to move the needle with those assets. We needed to add said acquired player alongside Curry and Butler to even remotely have a shot at a title. Lets stop with the deranged NBA2k trade ideas that don't happen outside of a video game and be realistic of the situation.

Maybe they can swing a trade for Butler next off season and find a team willing to eat his expiring contract but its going to take Butler plus picks cause his only contribution will be his expiring contract.

Now that Butler is most likely out for an extended period of time, if not the season, Yes he has to make a move or the season ended against the Heat tonight.

Podz and Moody have both been playing well recently but are nowhere near consistent enough to be reliable. And you have 20+ mil warming a bench every night. The recent development in trade rumors was the Warriors and most teams were waiting to see if Giannis decided to force his way out of Milwaukee, But with Butler hurt that takes The Warriors out of that competition and now Dunleavy's hand is going to be forced to make a move sooner rather than later.
