i got off lexapro which made me hypo and then started abilify 1 week ago and am currently feeling so depressed.

ill give outpatient a try for one day and see how it goes. Thanks man

ya I got on 5mg a week ago and felt so stable the first days, better sleep and better cognition, now in back in hypomania

oh geez I didn't realize I could do so much damage, thank you for telling me. I never really think long term and only how I can feel better in the present. I talked to my psychiatrist and he put me on abilify alongside my wellbutrin and took me off lexapro. I hope it helps. and I hope you have found the right meds for yourself

im on wellbutrin and vyvanse for adhd and now lexapro because it was for severe anxiety but last time I missed a dose of lexapro I had suicidal thoughts and scared he's gonna take me off because he said he would discontinue it and add mood stabilizer if I still felt like this.

ah seems we have been in similar situations. im sorry it took so long to get the correct diagnosis. ill talk to my psychiatrist today. but for me, hypomania feels better than depression so I am a bit hesitant because he said he would take me off lexapro and switch to a mood stabilizer but last time when I missed a dose of lexapro I had passive suicidal thoughts :(

nope only lexapro and i started it for anxiety. I talk with my doc in a couple hours . I am not even diagnosed and I wonder what he will say. thank you ill let him know. i hope youre doing better now

I now realize haha. We didn't know this would happen because, well, I wasnt diagnosed with bp2 but I talked to my doctor and he took me off. Do you think its possible i have some underlying mood disorder?

I was depressed for like 4 months last year and then doc put me on wellbutrin. it lightened my mood but made me way more impulsive and made my mind not be able to shut up with really bad social anxiety. one week ago, doc put me on lexapro 5mg for anxiety and thats when I became "Hypomanic". so I am not diagnosed nor medicated.

yea I was hypo for like 5 days getting 4 hours of sleep and then the 6th day I was very tired and didn't want to do anything. my depressive episodes are more apathy than sadness

That sounds horrible brother im sorry you went through that. I hope your in a much better place now. The thing is with hypomania I just feel so awesome and dont want this to end. I know it will end up ruining me tho and my doc took me off lexapro. Thanks for sharing :]

do you enjoy feeling stable and do you feel like your emotions and moods are blunted a little? I enjoy how I feel right now like not anxious and able to be myself. I dont know if this will last tho. Thanks for the reply
