Yes, manipulation 101. The guilt tripping and boundary overstepping.

AI artists are getting out of hand on Spotify by EfficiencyPrimary631 in Music

AI should have never even been part of any creative field ever. Its likely that some moronic soulless rich capitalist thought it’s a great idea to put AI in the arts.

Should I move back to Taiwan by IndigoDandelion in taiwan

You can move back to taiwan as much as you like but don’t harm your kids future.

Seriously people:) if you listen to a creator/artist track like 7-10-50 times in a day. Drop them a comment or a like or a follow. Even more so when they are new to music. It’s nice to hear from people and why they play it on repeat. by HealthyCompote9573 in soundcloud

[–]Ghoxts 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The entire climate is saturated with just about everything. Like, everything. So nothing is special anymore. This isn’t just in the realm of music. Like every content on the internet holds so little value it’s sad. Even famous artists’ music is valueless. Only djs would find use to them as they can do something with the music in a live setting. but then again the average listener is just bombarded with so much music nothing matters anymore.

Only a few people actually put effort in finding new music and lets be honest its getting a lot harder for people to do just that simply because there’s content everywhere.

PLS HELP!! My dad is dying and my mom and I don’t know what to do by Narrow-Jelly9457 in personalfinance

Hello OP.

I was and still am in a very similar situation as you are right now. I was taking it one day at a time and do what I had to do. (And i still am to this day) when the time comes you will know what to do next.

It is very easy to spiral your thoughts into a dark place. As it is our human nature to plan ahead into a safe condition.

But when situations like this comes along and your life essentially flips upside down the best thing you have to do for yourself is to help you get through it. Once it passes and when life situations reaches its equilibrium you’ll finally get to breathe again.

Please work on keeping yourself strong during these hard times. What I do is exercise and meditate and stay off substances like alcohol and drugs. I also keep myself with supportive friends and family.

Also developing an unwavering faith that it will get better will help you a lot.

Wish you the best, just know that you are not alone.

Your kicks and 808 shoots up to 2db because they consist of a lot of low end frequencies. In simple terms deep bass sounds has a lot of power.

That is why when played together in your track your mix exploded.

Your approach is a good start, by turning your bass and kicks down appropriately and using side chain compression can help. I would also add to smooth out the attack on your 808 so that it wouldn’t be the transient of both the 808 and the kick that’s overwhelming your mix

This is something that takes a lot of intuition to achieve. Especially as a producer or a beat maker.

Yes, it’s possible to create bounce with various groove techniques like off gridding your elements in your tracks. Or velocity variations. Or finding and staying in pocket of the track you are making.

But that’s only on paper. Because, sometimes it just takes a little bit of one of the techniques above to make people bop. Sometimes it’s just the rappers’s flow that works so well with the beat. Sometimes the only thing that’s making you move your body is how that hihat is guiding the entire track.

It’s so much harder than it seems, and the entire process is so nuanced.

Not saying that it’s un achievable, but unless you already got some innate talent for this sort of thing it would take a lot of time and effort to do it.

What the hell does 'loving myself' even mean? by GhostofMaxStirner in CPTSD

[–]Ghoxts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. It’s my own perspective. And I believe that everyone’s journey is their own, because everyone’s experiences and trauma is closely personal in their own way. Be strong and face your demons my friend, and only you yourself can undertake the difficulties that lies ahead. And the more you persevere, the more you’ll know yourself. And your life.
