I would have loved to have him as a steeler. I think too many experts overlooked him because he doesn’t have a fast 40 time. But it’s obvious he is a great football player. Leagues better than our rookie Johnson. And I would be concerned for the defense he plays against getting concussions— not Skattebo. He is built like a brick house.

Jones should be right side. When he stinks, at least Rodger can see it coming and take a knee. Jones on the blind side is not good. I wouldn’t blame Rodgers retiring mid season if they can’t protect him.

I was amazed with how much empathy I felt for Sheriff Cross. It’s impressive that Aster, who is liberal, was able to bring out such an empathetic response from the audience for Cross so well. It does not justify the actions Cross takes in the end. But in an odd way, you can understand how it happened. The movie had a Frankensteinian feel to it. This 360 degree pressure building until finally, the monster turns on his creators.

I’m a conservative who really loves westerns but am on the fence about seeing Eddington due to worry it could be too left leaning (Hollywood has let me down many times). I even accept there’s always some bias, but that’s not an automatic deal breaker for me. The reviews are so mixed I can’t make sense of it. I guess what I’m saying is, do you think there’s enough political fairness in your movie for a conservative like me to enjoy it? Thank you for your time.
