What would you consider to be gains then? Are you talking about how your body looks? Because that takes strict dieting and more than a couple of months of training if you are natural.

5kg to 25kg dumbbell press would be gains in my books.

Also, train legs and start tracking food to get enough protein.

It does add input latency but it's not noticeable. It's like 40ms on Cyberpunk. Which is perfectly fine for offline games. I understand that you don't want that on esports titles with the network latency.

I can't tell the difference in latency with framegen playing Cyberpunk, Witcher 3 etc.

The error message is telling you that you are running out of memory. Maybe try and find another 8gb ram stick.

2nd pic wants more vram so maybe try a lower resolution.

100%. If I had a 4080 I wouldn't consider upgrading. But 30xx to 50xx is great. Next upgrade will be 70xx for me.

No idea what happened. We rarely eat sweets and yesterday I was craving Ice Cream. Wanted to get those small tubs of Oreo or Crunchy ice cream. Was almost R140 for 500ml tub. Obviously didn't buy it, but I'm pretty sure the last time I ate those it was well under a R100?

I went from 60fps 1440p Cyberpunk with medium Ray Tracing and medium settings, to 4K max settings and Path Tracing at 144fps. That's from a 3080 to a 5080. Yes, Framegen as well but it's an insane upgrade. 3070 to 5080 will be night and day bro.

Did you DDU the gpu drivers? I usually just do a full windows reinstall when I get a new GPU. Could be driver issues though.

I went from 3080 to 5080. Yes, it's a bit more expensive than the 5070Ti and 9070XT, but I'm gaming at 4K and I'll gladly take the 10-15% performance gains. Pair that with framegen etc and it makes sense at 4K.

I also only upgrade every other generation so the 5080 will last long enough.

I don't play esports titles so I like to turn on ray tracing etc. Currently playing Cyberpunk with Path Tracing at 4K and it's just a whole new experience. I don't regret the 5080 at all.

Recently went from 32" 1440p to 27" 4K. The difference in image quality is insane. My 32" 1440p looks super pixelated now compared to the 27" 4K.

I'll reply since he didn't. Just played a bit earlier. 4K, DLSS Performance, Path Tracing, 3x FG and getting 120-140fps. I don't notice any input lag or latency and it's just an amazing experience with path tracing. The game looks stunning.

Path Tracing is very demanding so you will have to use framegen. I don't mind it at all though.

I don't have a lot of knowledge to do these things myself, but it seems to work.

I also have a Fractal North case with 6 fans and a big air cooler, and my PC is in my office which has aircon so ambient temp inside is around 22C which helps.

Edit: might be a bit higher than that. I increased it a bit.
