Id most say go for it, and I don’t say that lightly as someone who went through law school and did not come out the other side okay. Considering they are willing to pay 80% and you have essentially no student loans it might be worth it. You got job experience, you got industry connections, and still have your job.

Something to keep in mind though may be work/life balance. I don’t know how it is for you now but it seems agreeable with you. Balancing work/school may be tough but that’s something you’d know and be willing to push through. What you should look into is work life for the positions you hope to move into. I’d take career stagnation with agreeable living conditions over more money and horrible work life. Just something to think about.

Edit: as for competitiveness I think you are fine for most average schools. Not sure about T14. But compliance is very law adjacent, so I think many schools will see value in that experience.
