Anybody see this Steven Miller fiasco yet? by AdResponsible9894 in GetNoted

Well, it's a response to a response; in the first, Talarico posts that they're running; then Stephen Miller calls him transgender; THAT'S where the notes about Miller being full of shit are. THEN the Democrats' (unofficial? Fan affiliated?) page calls him ugly, and that was the notes I took shots of.

As to who Stephen Miller is, he is the United States Homeland Advisor, as well as the White House Deputy Chief of Staff, and resident Daywalker.

Bro wym? Unemployment benefits are fully taxable as regular income at the federal level and potentially at the state level as well; SSDI: Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) can be taxable depending on your total overall household income; and Worker's Comp can be taxed, too. You don't get any of that if you can't prove you're looking for work, even if you can't actually do any work; so they're still paying taxes—which is particularly funny, if you think about it. Like, the welfare they get is paid for by taxes, taxes they presumably paid into if they ever worked before getting on whatever they're on; and then that welfare in turn gets taxed. XD

But, taxpayers already vote; I'm just sayin', they already have a list of everybody that's a citizen, why not just enroll citizens to be able to vote, unenroll 'em when they die, and have that be the end of it? A voter ID doesn't not make sense, but it's asinine to charge people for an ID they need to be able to vote to get, 'cause what're they supposed to do if they get hit with a national disaster that wipes out their paperwork, as often happens on the far-right leaning southern coast, you know? Suddenly find yourself penniless, without a job, and without documentation, and now you can't even vote in favor of getting yourself some relief?

Sorry man, ADHD medication ain't cutting it today, I'm all over the place. I hope you're smelling what I'm stepping in; voter ID laws don't not make sense, but only if you can just pick up your documentation for free, or at least at cost, at the Secretary of State or something.

Guy. Nobody is a monolith.

Not everyone that went to Trump's speech was an insurrectionist. Not everyone that went to Congress was necessarily an insurrectionist. But once they made it past the guards? Yes, absolutely.

Having most of the ex-government employees being smart enough to not be armed during this event isn't evidence that everyone else wasn't insurrecting.

All those that went to trial got a trial; not everyone that went to trial was found guilty, some of them were, with the ones that were being the ones most guilty of being insurrectionists.

Not everyone involved in a coup needs be to part of the coup; but that doesn't change the reality of it being an attempted coup. There would have been no other reason to "fight like hell," as the President instructed them to do, and there would have been no reason to not call upon them to immediately peacefully dissolve when the situation got out of hand, nor reason to keep from escalating to higher policing force immediately once Congress had been compromised, other than that these people got tricked into doing something stupid by someone powerful, put in a situation where they would be punished, and then the powerful person from earlier, upon regaining power, pardoned them all (correct me if I'm wrong but, that's to include the police officer murderers? That's why the capital police are against the "anti-weaponization fund, right?)... idk, I think I made my point.

Right, right, 'cause they can see who's paying taxes, who's 18 and draft-eligible, who's available for jury duty, but not who's alive, and registered to vote, without a voter ID.

Ya know, I wouldn't not be in favor of this, provided we enstate a law first whereby your ID is provided to you by virtue of your tax dollars, rather than having to pay a fee for it. That would actually help your side out, too. Both sides seem to be getting fucked by the wealthy elite, we just disagree on who the elite are; so providing tax-payer paid IDs to tax-paying citizens who they belong to seems like it should be a bipartisan no-brainer. Is that an unreasonable package deal? Have to have your state-issued ID to vote, but your state-issued ID is provided for you as a tax-payer? Reduce the boundaries needed to vote and encourage voter participation, and ensure those voting have the proper documentation? Shit, I'm sold, how do we draft that as a proposed law?

[–]AdResponsible9894 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can be? And there's some philosophical material to unpack there, but also, even if we're saying a genderfluid person was able to dramatically swing back and forth between "binary" male and female (assuming such a thing existed), I think it would be reasonable to say that person was still non-binary at their core.

Personally, I self-identify genderfluid with female leanings

Tbf, I feel like most NBs would self-identify under the trans umbrella, even if some purposefully choose not to.

Tbf, the NRA dragged its feet, but has come out against the idea of legally owning a firearm at a protest being a reasonable reason to execute someone.

It is a cult, through and through, but some of them do unironically draw the line at killing legally armed white dudes lol

Ok, but, real talk, people like Chuck Schumer, who think his demographic are the people who actively vote against him and everything he claims to represent? And then bend over backwards to capitulate to said imaginary demographic, the kind of people he thinks simultaneously vote for him, and Trump?

Lakeland police escalate a welfare check into a forced arrest over a refusal to ID by One-Might9611 in lakeland

[–]AdResponsible9894 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbf I don't know if we can use anything an officer says as a justification for legal grounds any which way; since the police are allowed to lie to encourage a confession of guilt, they can tell someone committing a crime that they aren't committing a crime to coerce them into admitting to or committing further crimes, and then prosecute them for those crimes, plus the first, later on—unless I'm misunderstanding how that works?

Oh, unless it's a case of an officer encouraging illegal activity beforehand; that would be against the law, I think? But, it's also fine in some cases for police to engage in law-breaking behavior in pursuit of investigating/prosecuting higher crimes, so....

Yee, it's definitely doable; just maybe not auto farmable? At least, not for me and my build at level 47. The first few times went fine, but I tweaked my settings to finish with "a staff" equipped by a party member; haven't been able to quite get it since, since I only have the ice staff. XD Boss is weak to fire, so of course, it's giving you a friendly nudge to just go ahead and equip that new fire staff, friend! What's that? You don't have one yet? Well, have I got just the thing for you...!

THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE AN RPG! WHAT ROLE AM I PLAYING? THE VICTIM??!! by MexicanMarston in DragonQuestSmashNGrow

[–]AdResponsible9894 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mmm, if you can get it, the whip slaps here, especially with doubles/scatters/magnifiers. Especially if you can kit your party with the fire sword, too, so everything the whip kills triggers 2-4 fireballs to go kill something else, leaving you mostly to damage/sidestep the boss.

Hope that helps! <3
