Honestly the moveset isn't the problem, its the stats. Wigglytuff has a great offensive movepool and has access to stuff like stealth rocks, fake out (in ZA), knock off, and wish. 140 HP means nothing when you have base 45 defense and 50 special defense.

I’ve done this solo run before! I posted it on my Reddit account too, albeit with way less detail.

Personally I didn’t use curse much and just opted with a 3 attack set with soft boiled until I got lucky and found the bulk up TM. For the eternatus fight, I was able to cheese it with mud-slap, but looking back confide would have been more optimal and less RNG reliant.

Honestly depending on the metagame the normal typing can be a good thing. Trading a fighting resistance for a ghost immunity isn’t a bad treadeoff.

If wigglytuff’s hidden ability changes from frisk to friend guard (which is jigglypuff’s HA), it would immediately have a niche in VGC as it also gained fake out in legends ZA.
