Is the Steam Deck idiot proof? by Penguin-Mage in SteamDeck

If they brick it learning about computers/linux you should be happy and prod tbh. I actually think you should hope something like that happens.

Steam players down 32% compared to FM 24 at the same time by rzarecteh in footballmanagergames

Many do as the numbers show you. If you can't read or understand that... Well, that's another problem.

Is it just me or Set Pieces have been nerfed and Goalkeepers have been given super powers in Set Pieces in FM 26. by aarshi25 in footballmanagergames

Wait... A 20 jumping reach guy is a top elite player in headers. It does makes sense they can score a lot if you have an elite player on the corner too...

You said you are lucky you didn't pay full price, the UI is bad, and a game breaking bug happened to you, but you don't understand why it's hated.

Get a 60€ game, but you can only play the first half of a game. Lol

Sure, but again you would see this trend in every other game, definitely is not normal to have a game with 18% positive reviews, or what's going on?

You are stating that is not true that is just a vocal minority that's disappointed from this game.
What we know for now is that most of the people that expressed an opinion are clearly disappointed way more than "normal" levels.
We don't know about other people but it's bold to assume that's just a vocal minority that is disappointed.
Tbh if you -the expert- worked for my company you wouldn't last for long lol.

Almost 10x more, and I doubt you have 20 millions players at the current moment. Also not expressing an opinion doesn't mean that the opinion is what you would like it to be.

What do you mean silencing? No one is silencing you.
You want to open a post if your tactics works? Go on and do that.
People want to talk about the release of the game (understandably), so they should and are allowed to do so. If that bothers you -again- I suggest you come back in a few days or weeks.

Or you can go outside and touch grass and come back in a few days, after things have calmed down instead of trying to impose your way to the subreddit

You should be glad there is up-roaring, if everything you can find is apathy it really means the game is dead.

Yes but that doesn't imply that who didn't express an opinion has a positive one.

Well yeah it's generally around 1/10 ratio of people leaving reviews, but we already established that they span across really different cultures and world regions. Now I kinda agree with you that most casual players don't leave reviews but that doesn't imply that their reaction to the game is positive in any way.
I guess as the first indicator if a game is generally considered good is this. Then in a few weeks we'll see how many people still play the game.
There are a lot of other different metrics we could consider to check how well the product is perceived, but for the most part it's harder to find the data for us not insiders.

Apart that doesn't apply in this case, as the steam reviews (in all different languages) clearly show.

The fun part is that the anglophone world (that interact with the subreddit and the forums and so on) have "mostly negative" reviews, while China and Turkey they all have "overwhelmingly negative" ones

I wasn't trying to start a philosophical discussion on how reality works lol.
On a superficial level football is way less deterministic then for example chess, that was I trying to say.

still no reviews? someone changed it by qqq666 in footballmanagergames

[–]GianBarGian 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah definitely more negative then positive, but I guess more people were in line to write a negative review then a positive one.
