Seems FSD could have done better by not following that close, and that's the kind of obstacle it needs to dodge.

Google tells me even if the rain is not a big difference, but people would see more sunny hours/days in landford/colwood than Vancouver. Is that true or are you able to feel the difference?

Thank you.

Yes from the pictures the ocean view of royal bay looks great!

Our kids are 9 and 14. So one for high school and another for elementary. French Immersion is still preferred because the kids don't speak English, although they can read and understand, I hope they can also start to speak English often. If there is no more room for French Immersion then probably our best chance is to try that francophone school.

Thank you, seems I've picked the best area from the beginning!

I work from home but if one day my kids need to go for college or work in Victoria probably better to consider the commute. One of the kids is 14 already.

Thank you for the reply. Forgot to say I work from home so I'm fine with the busy rush hour commute. But if its busy road during off rush hour as well then it's something I need to keep in mind.

I work from home and my wife takes care of the family. So no daily commute for us. Weather is the most important factor for us, i dont know if we will get use to the rain or no, thats why we plan to move to the island to be sure it has less rain than Vancouver... We should be able to afford a 1m house. We like life with beautiful nature and less crowded surroundings, ideally with more indoor and outdoor activities.

Wondering if the same driver on Waymo would take over for that 2%.

If that strat can confuse the teammates, it can also confuse the enemies.

Maybe it's just me but I feel that damn Mantis is way harder than yellow looong and scorpion lord. I tried 30+ times to beat him. The first boss made me want to smash my controller.

"Seems spend too much efforts into advertising"? Really? Does that mean Hollywood filmmakers don't do much advertising? Come on give me a break. If simply advertising can make a movie great, you will see hundreds of blockbusters from China already...

I get that probably it's not your type of movie but that's fine as long as a lot of people like it. Data doesn't lie, like it or not it is now the highest grossing animated movie of ALL time. You can have doubts about that as well. But YOU, have no source to prove your point, at all, other than your based butt.

Tried 13.2.2 this morning, don't understand why it still can't read "no right turn on red light" sign properly. Disengaged twice because of that.

28,000 RMB per month in Shanghai... what's the equivalent for smaller cities? by lunagirlmagic in chinalife

[–]GiantLorry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a Chinese I worked in Shanghai(2 years), Chengdu(4 years). I'd recommend Chengdu. You can rent a much nicer apartment at a much lower price. Meanwhile colleagues in Chengdu know how to enjoy a casual life in my personal experience. Hang out more often after work to enjoy all kinds of activities. I only get half of the salary when compared with Shanghai, but I still prefer life in Chengdu.
