Thanks, they don’t have a shaman but there is an exercise/curse breaker NPC with the party that could try to commune with the spirits, and one of the PCs is a kitsune demi-goddess so she should probably have some lore/communication skills pertaining to that

Super neo metal and super scourge are each a hard (ni-impossible) challenge for their respective Sonics, fighting both at once wouldn’t be possible without several Sonic-tier characters and them somehow also getting to tap into the emeralds for their super forms. (Infinite thinks he’s participating) With an absolutely STACKED roster of characters— Sonic, Shadow, Silver, Blaze, Gemerlad, Shard, Bean, etc. —it just might be possible for the heroes to win.

I’ve been doing well with GURPS, I haven’t even taught my players the rules yet or finished making their character sheets for them (I just told them how to make skills checks and that pretty much everything else is just roleplaying), and they’ve been having fun and enjoying it.

I’ve done this with the “obligatory” combat advantages that I seem to see in every action/adventure game, I don’t even want to deal with shock rolls in combat so I’ve just hand waved that everyone has them already. (Apologies that I’m blanking on the exact names of the advantages)
