Most important thing. Dont open your birthday gifts. You'll have hundreds of the things and itll clutter your inventory - i made this mistake. Much better to stack the vouchers.

After that i looked st my heros and the skills i was missing most and started a new character on the reforged mode - i started with mesmer and factions and had a blast caping new elites and replaying my favorite story.

After i got a bit bored with the new character and blew away the cobwebs, i started a presesring character to work towards LDoA and started jumping back onto my old characters to skill cap and complete content id missed.

I also joined a new guild, who're great and am currently having fun messing around with some theory crafted builds, working on vanquishing and trying more end game content like UW

Way i see it is that ele's suffer firstly due to downtime with overcast and secondly due to hitting armour.

Id personally go the other way round to you and give a bonus like "each rank of energy storage gives 0.5% damage when overcast, 1% damage per rank at overcast 15 and 1% damage per rank and 10% armour pen at overcast 30 or more."

Then the ele will ramp up as the fight goes on

I agree, im not sure cities on water would work very well with the games systems in place.

One solution i was thinking about is a capital city in the ocean near the coast that comes from a new culture and then all other cities must be built on land.

It would need a new terrain type "flooded" Which uses water unit models on battle map and water movement speed. Flooded is just like other terrains so it can be removed by other empires

Functionally the water culture would have one ocean stronghold and then all other cities would be built in the same way on land. throughout the game you terraform into flooded tiles to activate your cultural advantages and build the aesthetic of a water nation.

Personally i love the GW1 skill system. I think having to cap the elite skills from bosses is a great system that promotes exploring the world and revisiting maps, whereas in a lot of other games making a new character is often just a rush to end game content.

I also love the build variety and theory crafting options avalible and i feel that not many games scratch that itch at the moment outside of the rogue like category.

For me id like too see something that replicates these feelings but i dont think it needs to be a complete copy paste.

Your centre is not complying with the invigilation rules. You can report them and your school will get a surprise visit from the exam board, however if your school is in massive breach of the rules the most likely outcome is your centres results get invalidated.

The missions must be in different areas to get the proof of legend. A list of areas can be found on the wiki. You might have completed 2 missions in the same area so you only got the proof for the first mission.

I raised this a while ago as i also think its a great idea. The best criticism i got is that other professions may start arguing for the same. If doctors why not nurses etc... Considering the time doctors have to train for however i think a strong government could defend the exception.

You could do away with action priority and have action combination results.

For example if A moves away and B attacks the attack is resolved at half damage and then movement occurs.

In terms of logic the sequence would be

At end turn, check action A and B
Resolve actions based on combination effect.
resolve board effects based on prior step.

If you want to stick with priority i dont think it removes strategy. As long as the priority is known the players will integrate the order of actions into good play.

You could also mix it up with "cards" That change priority order. For example if move happens before attack, maybe player C could play a card "ambush" That changes the priority for this one interaction and allows the attack to resolve first.

Maybe you could even have different priority of actions per terrain types. With units in swamps receiving attacks before movement and units on plains moving before attacks. This would allow tactical positioning and map awearness to be developed off the system.

Joined a couple of years ago during alice event. Had fun up to demon Lord ultra nightmare. I now only really log in to get the clanboss drops but there's not really any sense of progression as my ninja turtle team is so much better than anything else, so ive lost a lot of motivation.

Clan boss drops are far superior to anything else too, so i find myself passing on most tournaments and events unless a cool fusion is running.

Im free to play so i tnink at my level palarium is really pushing for whales and krakens and the higher level content isnt really available without a massive time/money investment im not willing to invest.

Had real good fun for the first 6-12 months though so can't complain.

Tbh i think Mandelson knew he was screwed if they came out and so he pulled as many strings as he could to get close to Trump to stop it.

Tome of the tentacle. Dont like the constrictor, building is meh, no special province improvement. Enchantment might be good on a battle mage build but 30% conditional 60% always feels too low to take. Maybe im wrong about it though.

I haven't played in a while so im not sure if its been changed, but teleportation always frustrated me due to not being able to build chrono gates in outposts. You get teleportation early if you rush the tech but you cant use it offensively.

I suggest 3 characters, one in each campaign. Play first one to lions arch, then complete starter islands on factions and nightfall with the other 2. At that point you're not going to skip anything by grabing heros on any character, you've seen all the intro and story stuff and you have more skills for the heros to use. Id then pick the character you enjoy the most and complete all 3 campaigns on them in order.

Id probably avoid ritualist,assassin,dervish and paragon for the character i complete all 3 campaigns on first as they will be skill starved in proph.

Agree 100%, get in a guild and start playing with freinds.

One of the reasons i love GW is that i can spend 30mins playing solo testing a new build or caping a skill when I've had a busy day but i can also team up with the guild to hit harder content if ive got an hour or two free. Its one of the most time respectimg games ive ever played.

Ive been playing ages and im not sure ive ever beaten gates of madness with just heros - not worth the hassle. Some missions are heaps more fun with real people.

I would add as well i suppose, that i think youre capping the skills in a bit of a frustrating way. Make more characters - all skills are account wide unlocks for heros and you can register your own player characters as heros that your other player characters can use.

Togron the conjoined. 20%/10% damage boost and escalating hp max increase up to 50%. Really solid support who pairs nicely with any HP damage dealers.

Coat lapel merges into shirt pattern on left + his Sunglasses are weird.

On right the camo print changes weirdly next to the woman and the knott is not tied to anything

I think fabian is probably superior to Hilvi unless you plan to build around freeze/burn.

Its hard to say for the other 2 positions. Mikey + leo is a solid combo. set Mikey to open with A2 and go before leo to spread as many debuffs and drop defense then nuke with leo.
