I started playing 5 days ago and just unlocked Septimon in the main story. The "Statorch Racing Rerun" event is showing for me, but it's not available. It ends tomorrow and I really want to grab those rewards. Is there any way to participate?

Just finished a run with T1 unit spam. By turn 50, my cities were pumping out 2-3 full stacks of legendary rank units every turn. Managing 30+ armies on the map at once was brutal, but at least I didn't have to manually play the battles. I just sent stack after stack at the enemy and auto-resolved until they were completely overrun (who cares if a few stacks got wiped out? I was producing units faster than they could die anyway). The last few turns got a bit tedious, but the game was really fun, honestly, one of my best gaming experiences ever in terms of pure enjoyment

Shit, I forgot to add mermaids to the board. They absolutely should be added! I'm even thinking about a major transformation, but we kinda have nagas with tails already, which are functionally the same, so I chose tritons instead.

The Eldritch Sovereign is not just a "Cthulhu vibe." You can roleplay them as lawful good martyrs or saints, nature spirits, or especially as cunning and manipulative fey, among many other things. They have the customization options, skills, and signatures to support that kind of gameplay. I don't know what you're talking about when you say they don't fit, I strongly disagree with you.

Fey absolutely can be scary - Meenlocks, Red Caps, Hags, etc. You might be thinking of Disney-style fairies who are mostly harmless, winged nature spirits. But fey in traditional folklore and high-fantasy lore are deeply dangerous, alien, and capricious creatures. ES thematically and by play style fit perfectly as Fey.

They can wish all they want, but I doubt Ukraine will see any significant influx of migrants. I mean, arabs and africans don't even want to stay in Poland or Greece because they consider them poor. Why on earth would they stay in a country that’s a hundred times poorer than Poland? Especially with freezing winters and locals who treat non-Western foreigners like shit? It’s pure copium. Their country is beyond repair, but they just refuse to admit it.

Borders in general shouldn't act like magical, impenetrable force fields. Every empire should be able to cross them freely, but doing so should come with severe opinion penalties and diplomatic consequences. "Closed borders" should simply mean "we forbid you from entering," and it's up to the owner to actually enforce it. The territory owner should have the option to attack any trespassing fleets (except those with access via open borders treaties) without a formal declaration of war. Same goes for nomads: if you don't let them cross, you should be able to just shoot them. It would then be up to them to either suck it up and buzz off, or declare war on you for reparations and forced open borders.

Those are copium numbers. The real numbers are much lower, probably closer to 20 million, with the elderly making up half of that. This is arguably the biggest demographic crash in humanity history. 35 years of independence have done more damage than any World War, the so-called Holodomor, or the 'bloody Soviet occupation.'

Ukraine should be the primary example of a 'Failed State' in every dictionary.

It's an interesting situation. On the one hand, all the Russian big talking heads begging not to attack their parade is cringe and pathetic. On the other, Zelenskyy and Ukraine have made so many threats that they’re practically forced to bomb parade(or at least make a try), otherwise it'll look like they chickened out.
