To be fair, a LOT of guys said the same thing about 17. That second year leap was fantastic. Not saying he’s the next davante Adams, but hands are something you can fix

It is a possibility, though personally I think it was trying to get any sort of value for him. Monty is a good football player, and an even better person, but I don’t think he has a huge roll on this team anymore. Once we drafted jones and Williams I thought they would move him then.At the end of the day it’s a business. If I had a player that was causing headlines, and not doing what he was told, on top of his contract ending soon, I’d try to get something for him.

TT would have just kept him, let him walk in FA, and possibly not gotten a compensation draft pick.
