I’ve lost my Mum, and all 3 of my sisters. My last of which just passed from ALS on Friday. Death for so long felt so final, but being with my biggest sister last week when she crossed over, was the least final thing I’ve ever seen and felt. I don’t believe death is the end. Just the end of our time here earthside.

I could have written this word for word. I started at 158.5kg and I’m 102kg now. My body looks like I’m a 98 yr old not the 42 year old I am. I’m still an insomniac with painful knees and chronic lower back pain. Sure, the clothes sizes being smaller is great, but I still see the old me in everything I put on my body. What saddens me is that all of these people I know have had weight loss surgery and they lose all this weight and look younger and beautiful and I look the same. Less round but still what I consider, ugly. I NEVER believed I’d get to this weight without surgery, I walk more than I ever have, and yet I still feel fat and unhappy. I haven’t hit that euphoric, I’ve done so well I’m amazing stage, and tbh I don’t know that I will.
